While the y has excercize equip. etc., the aquatic center has a swimming pool accessible to wheelchairs! that made my decision on where I would get a membership.

the only swimming spot 12/30/2005

Although the Columbus Aquatic Center is the only purely swimming pool in Columbus, even if it wasn't it would be one of the best. The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't any place to let a young child go swimming as the shallowest area is around 4 feet. They also don't have a hot tub - which the YMCA offers. The prices for a membership isn't that high either. They have swimming classes for the younger kids and places to swim laps and diving boards. Stop in here the next time you're feeling fishy! more

Good swimmin 10/12/2005

If you want to have some fun with the kids, head over to the Columbus Aquatic Center for some good swimming. They have a marked off spot that isn't very deep for the younger swimmers and a big deep pool for those who are already established swimmers. They also have some diving boards and can provide hours of fun for the family! more
