Very Empty Mall! 12/13/2008

This used to be a very nice, busy mall back in the 1980's. The last few years it has been in an obvious slow death spiral. There is at least one empty anchor store, and about 25% of the stores are vacant. I was just there Christmas shopping on a Sat in December, and there were only about 30 customers visible in the entire place, with their footsteps echoing through the deserted hallways. The merchandise selection in the stores is pretty sparse. Little for sale except womens clothing & shoes. more

Going down hill 4/16/2006

This used to be a wonderful mall. It has been going down hill though. All of the great stores are closing. The arcade has recently shut down and a lot of stores are moving out and no new stores are coming in. Now it’s to the point I don’t shop there. I go an hour away to the mall in Dickson City. There’s not many places to shop at here anymore. It’s sad! more

Columbia Mall 10/7/2005

The Columbia Mall is a pretty nice mall. They need to add more stores though. There is not enough variety in there any more. The mall has an arcade which is nice and a few restaurants. There is Sears, JC Penney, Bon-Ton, and more. There is plenty of parking. It is a good mall to shop at. more
