Hair: I see Gabby and she always does a GREAT job. I have been seeing her for awhile and my hair always turns out how I want it. I recently got the Brazillian blowout and it is amazing!!!! I highly recommend it. I naturally have thick curly hair and after I had the brazillian blow out my hair is silky smooth and straight! I haven't even used a straightener in 3 weeks since I have had it done, because it's that straight. Definitely a time saver and I highly recommend it. Wax: For waxing I see Amanda and she always does a fabulous job. I highly recommend her. It's very relaxing too! more

Really disappointed. My stylist had me waiting for half an hour without so much as checking in with me to let me know she was running late. While I understand it is sometimes hard to stay on schedule, I think this is totally unprofessional and rude. If your time is valuable to you, find another salon! more

I have been going to this salon for a long time and really love the pofessional, yet laid back enviornment that this salon provides! I have had many services and can't complain about anything! They have beverages, including soda, wine, beer, coffee and tea to sip on while you are getting your service. I mostly go to Maggie, however I have seen Tiffany and friends of mine go to her. They are both talented, friendly and professional. In response to the comment below about not being a positive experience, I will say that Tiffany has suggested to my friends some things that will look great on her. She really knows what she is talking about and they really trust her and always look great after their hair is done. That is too bad someone didn't have a great experience, but that could come with the territory in that industry. I don't see any reason someone would have to go to Portland to pay big bucks, when talented stylists are right here close by in Troutdale. Maggie has gone through a lot of training and worked at well known, expensive "fancy" salons. She really knows what she is doing! I highly recommend this salon! more

I had gone to see Tiffany last summer because I had a past stylist do a really bad haircut. She did an ok job fixing it for me so a few months later I went back for a dye and cut. But when I got there she refused to do what I wanted. I wanted really bright red hair, and she kept insisting I wouldn't like it. We argued for a half an hour then she told me "well now we don't have time for what you what anyway." It was the day I was throwing a birthday party for me and so I got my my hair dyed with some brighter red weave, which is what she had suggested to me. Unfortunately after 3 days the red weave in my hair turned bright orange! I like the salon itself and will try another stylist, but I will never see Tiffany again! When I go to a salon I do not pay the stylist to do what she thinks would look good on my hair, and have the nerve to tell me what I want will look ugly. more

I've been going to Chelsea for about a year now, and am so happy with her that I drive all the way from The Dalles every few months so SHE can do my hair!! Jenna is a perfectionist when it comes to acrylic and solar nails! I have never had a set last so long without losing a nail! She does a great job and is very sweet! Had a facial with Kaylynn and it was a wonderful experience its as relaxing as a massage! I look forward to the next time. This salon is top notch! more

I went to Cami b/c I had read good reviews. She corrected an awful haircut that I can only describe as a shag mullet. Cami had quite a challenge on her hands and she did an excellent job. She spent extra time helping me to learn different ways of styling. I would highly recommend Cami. I left very happy and will be going back. more

Amazing. I don't like to look for hair stylists, and I fire those who can't cut my hair so that I look good within 30 seconds in front of the mirror. I have 5 cowlicks that don't cooperate. I tried this place-- got incredible results! 15-20 seconds in the mirror, and I actually get "COMPLIMENTS" on my hair now. Very reasonable rates. Non-rushed, quality service, with inteligent conversation-- and the BEST head massage on the planet, during the shampoo process. ||[]||[]Why go downtown and fight traffic, parking, etc. This place is on the Columbia River, right off the freeway on the street behind the outlet malls, with cool little shops and eats next to it. It feels peaceful-- and getting to Troutdale is quicker and more convenient that getting downtown because of the parking and walking issue. When I come here, I always get a spot right in front of the salon. The air is better out here. And I promise you-- you won't find a better stylist anywhere, no matter how much you might spend. I came to Columbia Gorge Salon and Spa being new to the area I had moved from Seattle. My Best friend has been getting her hair done by Cami for 5 years and swears she is a miracle maker. I have really fine shoulder length hair that never does anything but lay limp. Cami recommend some soft color to add fullness. She gave the most amazing razor cut she was really able to give me a hair cut that when I style it can be absolutely amazing and when I wash and go she showed me how to scrunch my hair to get great waves when it drys. I told her when I was all done I wish I had a fresh make up to go with my new cut and color and she said she can not only put make up on me but show me new colors and ways to do my makeup that goes with my new cut. The makeup line they have at Columbia Gorge salon and spa is Jane Iredale it is the best make up. I now know why my best friend has been going to Cami for all these years. I highly recommend her. Pros: Cami hours she works I can usually get in within the week I call if not then the next week Cons: parking some times can be hard to find especially if there is a parade more

I don't get to visit the best salon and spa in Oregon enough but when I do, I am impressed every time. Great atosmosphere, superb service well organized and ready to serve. All the stylist are real pros but the one who is a "cut above" is Nicole Ilse. The coffee is good too! It's nice when you can call and get an appt the same day. However it is also nice when the tech shows up for the same appt. Thanks guys just when there seems like we do not have enough time in the day....you waste more of it!!!!! more

I got a great a-line bob and weave from Chelsea! She is very thorough and also fun to talk with. I've lived here for 2 years and haven't found a stylist worth sticking with and now that I found Chelsea, I'm moving in a few months! I'm sad because she is a keeper, but I'll have to get one more cut before I go. more

I have had my nails done for a very long time and when my nail tech moved I was not sure what I was going to do. I found Amber Eichner through a friend who is her client she does amazing french acrylics I am very impressed I found someone who was so good. Amber is professional and a pleasure to be with. I will never go to anyone else she is awesome no lifting or breaking, I am a believer!!! I have also had a pedicure from Amber and love how thorough and sanitary she is!!!! LOVE HER!!!! more

I have been searching for the perfect hair stylist since i moved to Troutdale in 2002. Finally I came across Camillia at a rival salon in Gresham. She has been taking care of my hair ever since. I have never met a stylist with the attention to detail or the talent that Cami has. I followed her to Columbia Gorge Salon because of her ability to keep my style fresh and modern without making me look like I'm trying to be a "kid". I love this girl, there is simply nobody better. I have been going to Columbia Gorge Salon for about 3 years now and am a very, very, very loyal customer. Chelsea is my hair stylist and is the ONLY person i trust with my hair now. It's hard to find a good hair stylist, so when you find one you stick to them like glue. All the hair stylist at this salon really know what they are doing and i would highly recommend the staff at this place. Even the receptionist is freindly and welcoming. Vietnam is communist and thats why there isn't any disneylands in Vietnam. I gave you 5 stars which is the most stars I can give you because stars represent communism in Vietnam, I hate communism. But Amber Ponce did an awesome pimp job on my eyebrows, but I haven't had them done by her yet, I will in a week though, I'm just writing this now because I have lots of faith in her talents. I have been seeing Michelle New for over a year now for cut and color. I have to say she is the BEST stylist I have ever had and I receive compliments ALL THE TIME on my hair! She is always up-to-date on styles and her attitude is outstanding!! I have also seen Amber for waxing and facials, again she is fantastic! Go see these girls, they ROCK!! I have been a client of Michelle New's for about 2 yrs and I don't know what I would do without her. She is constantly keeping my hair up to date with the latest techniques for color and cuts. She is always upbeat and ready for whatever. The stylists at Columbia Gorge Salon and Spa regularly take classes to keep them educated, something I value in a hairdresser! I have also had wonderful manicures and pedicures by Judy she is amazing and so are my feet when she is done! This is definitely the best spa I have been to in a long time, I highly recommend this place to everyone! more
