I purchased a new Kia Sedona van on April 30, and needed my Pride lift installed in the new van. I called Colorado Wheelchair, as they had put the lift in my other van and he did NOT call me back for 11 days, only to leave me a message that he would be out of the office all that week as well. By the time he did call back i had approached a different installer, who even called Pride to make sure everything was exactly what was needed, I called them May 14th in the morning and they called me back on the 15th with estimated cost and necessary kits. I gave them the go ahead, waiting until Ron was in the office before I called back.
He went to where my husband works on the 16th or 17, I can't remember exactly which and my husband told him we had hired someone else.
Between May 17th and May 31 Ron called my phone more times-not leaving a message when I did not answer. Finally yesterday, May 31, I was able to answer the phone for I was in my office, and it was Ron again wanting to know who i had hired, why I went with someone else, etc.
I simply told him that by not contacting me for over a week showed me that he did not want my business. This is my life here, I have to have my power chair to get around in the stores, doctor's office, and when we go someplace special that required a lot of walking.
I feel, in my opinion, that Ron is stalking me with all the phone calls AFTER he was informed that we hired someone else. And I had no trouble with my van until after I had the lift installed, then it began dieing while I, or my husband, was driving. I had it in the shop repeatedly, and they could find nothing wrong...so was it the installation of the lift??? Causes one to ponder.
I am positive that Ron will place a lengthy response to this, it fits his character. And I truly do not care. Point of fact is that I was ignored for over 1 week, expected to wait another week, and have been stalked ever since he was informed that I hired someone else. By the way, they were cheaper, more reputable, and let me know about some new laws for people like me who are handicapped.
The lift will be installed next Wednesday, June 7 in approximately 6 hours, compared to the 10 hours Ron had the other van last year.
Sorry, but your service stinks, and I will be sure to let everyone I know, know.
