I have a love/hate relationship with this center. I had both laser vein treatment and a few laser hair removal packages. I do have to say I really liked the female staff that worked on my laser hair removal - they were professional and qualified, courteous, and good listeners. But I will NEVER let Dr. Verebelyi work on me again. After having laser vein treatment on larger veins behind my legs, I complained of left foot tingling/numbness around that same time. Dr. Verebelyi freaked assuming I was accusing him of some medical damage, and instead of calmly addressing my concerns, he raised his voice and tried to become intimidating to shut me up - it was downright abusive. It was the most unprofessional treatment I have ever received. I still don't know if the numbness was related, but it sure is a coincidence. I still have it flare up on occasion. But I will NEVER have that man perform work on me again. more

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff is very professional and very friendly. They go above and beyond explaining the proceedure and expected results. I have great results with my laser hair removal. I highly recommend Colorado Center for Photomedicine!! more

Amazing people, phenomenal results!!! After having my kids I hated how I looked - loose skin, extra padding. I hadn't seen a flat stomach in 5 years. I chose to do my SmartLipo procedure with Dr. Verebelyi in the beginning of this year. All I can say is...WOW!!!! I had consults at other plastic surgery practices and with them I felt like nothing more than a number. Like they couldn't care less if I chose them for my procedure. With Dr. Verebelyi and his staff, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. They really went out of their way to make sure I had all my questions answered and that I knew exactly how the procedure and recovery would go. There was no guessing, no ""What do I do now?"" moments. Even though I'm only 3 months out - I look amazing!! People are complimenting me left and right asking what I've had done because the results are so noticeable. I can't wait for summer so I can wear a 2-piece again!!! I had a laser treatment done that was supposed to tighten skin and wound up with 2nd degree burns on a large area of my body with MAJOR permanent scarring. When I called to tell them about the major burns, the dr refused to talk to me and put one of his staff on the phone who told me that the reaction must have been simply an allergic reaction due to something I had put on the affected area and not from the laser treatment. Believe me, it was not an allergic reaction! I had to go to the ER over the burns.... it was that bad and that painful! My skin looked like raw hamburger meat! The ER was certain it was from my laser treatment. When I told Dr Verebelyi's staff that I wanted to cancel my 2nd session (out of a series) because I refused to go through that again, she put me on hold while she went to talk to the dr and then came back to tell me that Dr Verebelyi said I never should have started the process if I was going to be so concerned about appearances. I was floored. I can no longer wear a bikini (or feel confident in something sexy behind closed doors with my hubby) without feeling embarrassed over the scars and permanent discoloration. I think it was rude that the dr wouldn't take a minute out of his day to talk to me personally about my concerns or even try to keep my business. I never got a refund or even an explanation. STEER CLEAR OF THIS DR!!!!!!!!! more

LOVE the waiting area.. so inviting and welcoming. I've been here at least a half a dozen times getting several treatments from hair removal to chemical peels. Before coming to the Colorado Center for Photomedicine I was literally wasting time and money plucking, waxing and shaving hair in areas I felt woman shouldn't have hair. You know what I'm talking about.. the upper lip and sometimes the cheek or neck areas. I had it up to here with all of that and decided to have this corrected once and for all. The staff at the Colorado Center for Photomedicine were so amazing, and the results from the hair removal treatments to the chemical peels have made me into a brand new woman. The treatments were very affordable and so worth it. more

As a result of a laser treatment, performed by Dr.Verebelyi, I am now suffering from Facial Fat Loss in the treated areas due to severe laser damage to the subcutaneous tissue; my skin is now chronically dehydrated and prematurely aged; it aged years in a matter of couple of weeks following the treatment! I was never informed about these side effects, even though at the consultation, I specifically asked Dr.Verebelyi about ALL the possible side effects and risks. He assured me that the treatment was absolutely safe. The treatment that was supposed to remove some minor imperfections, turned out to be the most devastating experience of my life. Dr.Verebelyi has absolutely ruined my skin! When I reported my complications, not only Dr.Verebelyi failed to provide proper aftercare, but he continuously lied to me in order to escape the responsibility. In my experience, Dr.Verebelyi is a very dishonest and extremely unprofessional man, who does not stand behind his work and does not take any responsibility for his mistakes. Save yourself money and tears, do not let him touch your face. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. more

I am really disappointed with Dr. Verebelyi! I had the SmartLipo procedure done on my chin/neck, to eliminate a slight double chin. I didn't even go in with the intention of having it done. I went in to just have some injections done, and during the course of the consultation, he suggested the procedure. I SPECIFICALLY asked him prior if there was going to be loose skin, he assured me no, that the laser would tighten it up. That was NOT the case. It left me with a HORRRRRIBLE turkey neck appearance because of all the loose skin. I complained and was informed I could have a different procedure done to fix it... at a cost of an additional couple grand. He also said I was told that loose skin may be a side effect, but that was an out and out lie. I had asked HIM if that would happen during the initial consultation and he had said no. The nurses were very kind and suggested maybe it still needed more time. That was back in March or so (had the procedure done in Jan 2010), and it has been almost one year and it is still loose. I am embarrassed beyond words. What makes it worse is that I am a professional comedian and on stage constantly, and I am always self-conscious about it, that is NOT conducive to success in my field. If I had been told to choose between a slight double chin or a turkey neck, I would have NEVER agreed to the procedure. I really feel like I was duped. The injections (Juvaderm, etc) I received were fine, but you can get those anywhere. I am out 4 grand only to look worse. I am now a 40 year old with a 60 year old neck. DON'T ANYone get that procedure! I also would suggest to get a 2nd opinion on any procedure you want done there. On the plus side, the staff is very nice and professional, and Laura (nurse) is awesome, but even all that doesn't fix what that procedure has left me with. I am horrified to have people look at me and I now HATE to have my pictures taken. I moved in May to NYC and while there consulted with similar offices and they all suggested procedures to fix it, but they are all too expensive for me. Bottom line is, I ASKED IF THERE WOULD BE LOOSE SKIN AFTER AND WAS TOLD NO. I would never have done it if I had known. Words can not describe how badly this procedure has made me feel about myself. This goes down in my own history as one of the worse decisions I have ever made. The fact that Dr. Verebelyi told me after I complained that he had told me it was a risk just pissed me off because that meant both he either thought I was stupid or had forgotten and also he proved himself to me to be a liar. BOOOO! more

Dr. Verebelyi utilized laser treatment on a growth I wanted removed on my nose. Afterwards, I was left with a scar. This was devastating! I would have better accepted the outcome if i had received fair warning of possible scarring, but that was not the case. In addition, when I gently asked if the scarring would diminish, Dr. Verebelyi jumped at me and said ""You are the one that wanted a second procedure"". When in reality, I made an appointment for a second procedure under his advice to remove the growth completely. He took no responsibility for his mistake! His bed side manner was unprofessional and discomforting. This complaint is coming from a pretty easy going individual, so I think that indicates the severity of his actions. I do advise all of you to see Dr. Smith (smith cosmetic surgery in Denver, CO). He is caring, professional, and has remarkable credentials. If anything I hope you all learn from my mistakes, do your research before you see a doctor, it can save you much grief and damage. I had to get on here and sing BIG praises to Susan Davenport, the Permanent Cosmetics Star. I had previous eyeliner done that needed to be touched up and some mistakes that were made by someone else. She is FABULOUS! I am in shock how good my permanent eyeliner looks! Susan is so Professional, Has the hands of a skilled Artist, and believe me, if you are going to have work done, you want her to do it! BRAVO Susan. You will get many referrals from me! Colorado Center for Photomedicine is awesome. I had originally gone to this office for Botox (which was about $1 less than any other place) and walked out with so much more. Dr. Verebelyi is so knowledgable and very gentle. He was very patient and explained the entire procedure while he was doing the injections. He also explained a new procedure called Total FX which is a skin resurfacing procedure using a CO2 laser. I have much skin damage and I am so excited for my upcoming treatment. I was aslo able to sit down with the aesthetician Dory and she recommended some wonderful skin care products to start using after my resurfacing. The staff is so nice and so wonderful. I've had problem acne ever since I was a kid. I've been to see various dermatologists in the area, and all the medications and creams they gave me tore up my skin. I've had every kind of acne facial and peel imaginable in many of Denver's premiere ""medical spas"" and no one has yet to control it. I found Colorado Center for Photomedicine - I think they used to be Azure Medical, they just changed their name - online and I'm thrilled!! For the first time, my skin is under control and I feel and look amazing. Dr. Verebelyi and his staff are just the greatest!! They took the time to talk me and explain all the various options I had. I'd never heard of some of the lasers and procedures they had, but man - they worked like nothing else!!! I highly recommend this group of super-nice, talented people for anyone looking for any sort of aesthetic or laser treatment. I actually saw Dr. Verebelyi on the news the other night and believe me folks - this is the go-to guy in Denver for all things skin and laser. Pros: Very nice people, so patient and knowledgeable. I had previously had four hair removal treatments at another office about 18 months ago and stopped going because I was not particularly happy with my results. I found this office after the recommendation from a friend. The first thing that struck me was the time they took getting to know what I expected and explaining the procedure to me. The treatment was much more comfortable so I had my doubts if it would work. After only a couple of treatments I had way more clearing of my hair than after four treatments at the other place (and the price was less). I was really happy with the overall service and started also getting my Botox there. For about a dollar per unit less than the other place I had an MD (instead of a nurse) do the procedure and he did a much better job. Pros: Great communication and results more

After my visit there - I am so grateful to my friend! Both Dr. Verebelyi and Gale were extremely thorough as well as two of the nicest people I have met! Dr. Verebelyi is so knowledgeable about all the procedures available not just at his own office - but the offices of other practicioners. He patiently went through my previous history of treatments and suggested a series of treatments which included the new Pearl Laser. I've had one treatment and my skin looks and feels fantastic!! Azure is the first medical office in Colorado to have this laser, too! I looked at several options when looking to have the wrinkles on my eyes worked on. I even considered surgery. The Titan procedure took 10 years off my face with absolutely no down time. Dr. Verebelyi is amazing, he explained everything in a way that easy to understand. I am still astounded with my results! Don't go for surgery on your aging eyes until you have considered Titan! I can't believe I found a Medical Spa with a real medically trained staff on site! An MD & RN are there at all times so no worries about the person doing your procedure only having 4 hours of training and possibly hurting you! I have nothing but good things to say about Gale Love (aestitician - also with a medical background!!!) for Microdermabrasions. The whole staff, down to the front desk, never rushes you, it's like you're the only patient even though there are many. MD gave me multiple options and spent over an hour explaining everything to me. Very gentle during procedure. The office is beautiful. Went to two other offices before trying this one. Difference was like night and day, neither of the other offices offered all the procedures and staffs were not nearly as friendly or capable. Overall great experience. From the beautiful decor to the friendly, attentive outgoing staff you won't be disappointed. Crystal - their massage therapist - is out of this world. She'll leave you feeling like a brand new person and you'll be hooked! The Dr. is very knowledgable with a great personality and awesome bedside manner. He'll make sure you understand everything that's going to happen and that you're completely comfortable. Their aesthetician is wonderful - she knows just about everything to know about skin care. Their nurse is the best injectionist in town. All around this is the best kept secret in Denver! more

I am 3 visits into my 5 visit package for facial rejuvenation. They use a new laser treatment call Laser Genesis. I had never heard of it before coming to the office but it has worked beautifully. I used to have several deep acne scars on both cheeks which are already showing incredible improvement even though we are only halfway through the treatment. Staff is very friendly and beautiful facility (make sure you try the relaxation room). Would recommend this place to everyone! more
