DO not do business here if you are having something shipped to you. I would give it 0 stars if it were an option.
I took my daughter to Color Me Mine in April 2010 to make an art piece for Dad for Father's Day. Because we were on vacation in the LA area and live in Indiana, we had the piece (which we loved, along with the whole experience) shipped to us in Indiana. Our art piece arrived in an unbelievably badly packaged box and broken into bits. Whoever sent it to us apparently shoved it down into a paltry amount of packing peanuts and sent it to us in the mail. There was no way this thing wasn't going to be broken.
I called and emailed Rose Moore, presumably the owner of Color Me Mine on May 9 describing the inexcusable manner in which our piece was sent and that it was obviously broken, and she promptly returned an email, telling me she had a refund check for $56.23 in the mail to me that day. (Shipping cost was $15.00, at least they could have wrapped it in bubble wrap.) I have never seen a check from Rose. I have sent three follow-up emails to since May 9 asking her about the refund, and I have heard nothing back from her. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. We had a lot of fun glazing our piece, but I am sorely disappointed by the lack of follow-through and communication from Rose. On our next trip to LA, we will not be going to Color Me Mine. It's funny, because when we left the place I couldn't wait to give it a five star review.
