Colony Square Apartments

Whenever anyone asks me for an apartment recommendation in Columbus, I instantly recommend Colony Square. My wife and I love living here! We are graduate students at Ohio State, and it suits our living needs perfectly.\r \r Pros of Colony Square\r • It’s close to the OSU campus (roughly 2-2.5 miles away)\r o It’s just a 6-7 minute walk to the COTA bus station, which has buses that take you right to campus or down to the Short North, Arena District, etc.\r o It’s about a mile away from the awesome Columbus bike trails\r o The proximity allows my wife and I to live quite comfortably with just one car.\r \r • It is very quiet and peaceful (which is not the norm for a lot of apartment buildings close to a major university.)\r \r • Management is extremely responsive to resident needs, friendly, and eager to help.\r \r • The apartments are clean and the grounds are well-kept. Because it definitely feels that way after a few personal touches. They offer one and two bedroom apartments with great maitenance work. If something breaks, just give them a call. The manager's nice and the environment's friendly. There are flowers everywhere and a swimming pool with a four-dolphin fountain :O). The rent is reasonable and the water is free, unlike the townhouses in UA. PROS: Friendly, nice, pleasant, inexpensive. CONS: The surrounding neighborhood doesn't look as nice. more

I've lived there for 3 years. Whenever we had problems, we would call the matentence and they would usually fix the problem in a day or so. The apartment manager, Greg, is also very nice! He is really deticated to taking care of the apartment complex, making sure it looks clean, beautiful and a safe environment for its tentants. more
