Colony Flooring & Design

We had Colony Flooring do ceramic tile in our kitchen, laundry room and den and granite counter tops in our kitchen remodel in 1999. Even back then it was a true nightmare! I honestly don't know how Hasan stays in business. Our granite did not line up against the back wall (isn't that what the templet is for?) and had to be filled with icky black caulking. The seam shows badly and the bullnose edging is not polished very smooth. The bar top was cut too narrow, which we had to accept and had to fight to get a backsplash behind the sink! His company did the whole renovation, I guess he was going to leave it drywall!!! They tried every shortcut they thought they could pull off. Like putting a damaged tile in the middle of the Laundry room floor! Now I have 4 tiles that have popped up in the den!! They always sounded hollow but what do you bet he wont take responsibility for them? more

I am acting as the GC for my daughter s bathroom remodel. At the front in Colony (Hasan--one of the owners) was very nice and gave my daughter what I felt was a good price. Scheduling of the work has been a nightmare. Colony has yet to keep a scheduled appt. The project is now 98% finished. Result is an unlevel granite countertop and tile on backsplash is crooked. We have been waiting for 5 days for Hasan to bring tile and granite guy back to fix it. He has again been too busy to come out. Now we find out they are out of backsplash tile and have to order it. Do yourself a very big favor.....pay a little more to deal with a reputable company. more
