Best Food in connecticut~!!! 1/2/2007

I invited my family for a dinner night before Christmas. We had the best waiter I have ever had his name is john. He paid attention to detail, explained in detail every entree and special. Food was phenomenal. The quality of the food is 5 stars! Pros: high quality of Food and Service, romantic ambience, excellent service, you get what you pay for! Food is fresh and delicious! more

Dinner not politics 5/5/2003

We had our family Easter dinner at Colonial Tymes restaurant. The food was good but overpriced. Everything was a la carte and not even a small salad included. The worst part was the sign at the front of the restaurant proudly stating that they serve no French products. One of our family members is French/American and this was hurtful. I didn't inquire of their politics before I went there but I won't be going back. That was tacky for a restaurant with such pretensions. I wanted a fine dinner not a recitation of the political leaning of the owners. Shame. That's what gives Americans a bad name. Pros: Atmosphere, Family friendly Cons: Prices too high, Attitude unfriendly more
