Go to Binson's Home Health Care store located just down the road from the Altamonte store, next to Walgreen's on 436. Their staff members are very courteous. I cannot say the same for the sales manager at the Altamonte Colonial Medical Supplies store. I had a very difficult time effectivelly communicating with the sales manager, Bill. We purchased a lift chair that broke in one month. We determined that the chair was RECONDITIONED on our own. We were NEVER notified of this fact at the time of purchase. We were led to believe the chair was new. During my initial phone conversation with Bill, he was willing to ""do anything to make things right"", but later changed his story when I called back. He insisted that we pay a return delivery charge of $105.00 and labor charges to fix the defective chair, even though they knew the chair was not new from the beginning. Perhaps their deceitful sales tactics are not illegal, but in my opinion, they are VERY UNETHICAL, particularly when people who are in need of such chairs are often elderly, extremely ill and very vulnerable.
