Was buying a 4 piece hardwood office set for over $2500. Had to wait 4 weeks for them to ""get it"". Once it arrived, the desk was damaged. They said they would put a top on it, and I told them I didnt want a ""rebuilt"" desk for the ""new"" price I was paying. They refused to waiver, and when I asked about getting a refund, the very rude women of the phone said I was bound by contract, and started rubbing the ""fine print"" in my face. Is this really how this company works out disputes with paying customers?? She continued to speak over me to the point I couldnt even say anything. Again, Im paying them $2500 to be chastised like a child?? the next day, I spoke to a guy who said he was part owner (only to change that claim later). He said he would knock off some monies, and have the actual desk builder put the new top on. Finally, someone with more sense. Sometime later, he called me back and said the builder looked at the flaw, and said he could correct it without replacing it. He said he would call me when the work was done. A day or two later he called and said it was ready, and for us to come take a look at it. We had to drive 50 minutes, but I was still excited thinking I will finally have my desk. However, when he pulled it out, I was shocked!!! The flaw was huge and obvious! I couldnt believe he thought this spot (about 2x4') would be acceptable to ANYONE on a $1500 desk! Not only did he waste our time, but was rather non-caring about the whole thing. My wife & I asked again for a refund. I explained to him I was not satisfied with their professionalism and customer service. He said he would have to check with the owner (now he says hes a manager) as they cant send the desk back. I asked why he couldnt send it back, since the flaw was their fault, and he said thats not the relationship they have with the builder. What kind of business operates that way?? Anyway, the owner approved our refund, and we will never shop their again. It was obvious their only true concern was making a buck, and frankly, Im surprised they have been in business as long as they have been, working that type of business plan. My advice...stay away...far far away.
Cons: rude, unprofessional, greedy, poor customer service
