Colonial Florist

On 7/12/11 I placed an order with this florist and gave them the item number from their web page. When the family member received the basket of flowers and called to let me know, she described it and it did not sound like anything I had ordered. She sent me pictures and I was shocked to say the least! The basket was not the right shape, size or color and the flowers were unhealthy as well and it looked very cheap. I called the next morning and was told sometimes they have to substitute. I told them they should have called me before doing that. They said they would get the right basket and get it out that afternoon. I recieved a call and pictures again. The basket still was not what I had ordered and would not do what I had intended it for but at least it was much better. Just because someone orders from out of town does not give them right to change and cheapen the order in an attempt to make more money in my opionion. I will never order from them again! more

Was not happy when I went to visit this florist. Not a lot to choose from, the staff was not very helpful, and to top it all off, they were really over priced compared to other florists in the area. I checked them out because of them being around forever and it's where my family always went. However, I think it's time to retire the family choice and start going to a fresher one. Sorry Colonial your customer service and bad attitudes did you in this time! more

They did the flowers for my in-laws anniversary party and every thing turned out very nice. My mother in law likes pale, pale pink flowers, roses in particular, and they were able to find just what she wanted. We have used them many times and have always been satisfied. more
