My ""lost"" immigration case was resolved with Colombo & Hurd in less than six months and I was able to complete my process without any other complications. They handled my case in a professional and honest way with great attention to detail. Everything was explained to me from the start along with my options and their recommendation on how to proceed. Michael Mendez was my lead attorney and he took a personal approach to my case by talking to me in my own language and twice visiting the immigration to insure my case was presented to the correct people and departments. more

Got My Green Card in a Year 10/2/2014

I found Colombo & Hurd law firm in the Yellow Pages. I saw very good reviews about them. At the beginning I was a little skeptical because I did not know them. But I was surprised when I met them and especially the lawyer Michael Mendez, who handled my case. He was very patient with me and explained all the processes. He gave me a lot of advice and allowed me to pay the cost in parts. After being in the USA for 28 years I got my green card in a year and I didn't have any immigration interview. I recommend Mr. Mendez without hesitation. He is an excellent professional and great person. more

We sought U.S. citizenship for my Peruvian wife, and the knowledgeable, professional team at Colombo & Hurd made the process a lot less stressful than it would have been otherwise. Other lawyers we spoke with did not give us a positive vibe, but when met with Michael Mendez, we felt extremely comfortable. He listed to us and gave us a good assessment of the legal challenges we faced, and what kind of time frame we should expect. He was also upfront about what it would cost. His paralegal assistant, Lady Gonzales, was great at keeping us informed and answering our questions. The whole team at Colombo & Hurd made the unpleasant process much easier to deal with. more

Great commitment and results 8/27/2013

Colombo & Hurd resolved my immigration case in less than a year after two other attorneys couldn't do it in five years. Even though my case was complicated, they took it pro bono, and we prompt with the process and stayed committed. Mr. Hurd was my attorney. He's very professional and knows what he'd doing. He's also friendly and caring, and gave me the confidence not worry. more

TEN CUIDADO, BE VERY CAREFUL. I've dealt with many Laywers', and yes, there are a few good ones with integrity. I can only comment on my experience with Brandt: He's ingenuiine, aloof and seemingly apathetic. Fee seemed reasonable, but I felt no peace of mind whatsoever regarding his abilities and professionalism. Unreachable via phone, secretaries attempt to give legal advice, doesn't return calls or emails. In such a delicate process one needs a Lawyer who at the minimum is professional and ideally cares. And don't try to post a review on their website or google because they have it locked so they can create their own fake posts recommending them. more
