Collision Plus Ii

Collision Plus II at Hwy 6 and I-10 was recommended to me by a Porsche dealer as ""the best body shop in Texas"". I can't help being a skeptic when hearing references like this, but having had work done on 3 high end cars by Nick and his team, it is fair to say they are exceptional. I do not normally write reviews of any business, but thought they deserved a thumbs up. Nick will actually try to persuade you not to paint your car if it is not necessary. I find this honesty refreshing. They have very high standards and routinely work on very expensive cars. All the work that has been done for me has been first class. A Porsche 911 I owned was keyed (sadly) and two panels had to be repainted. Nick took great pains to ensure that the job was as perfect as possible. The result was impressive with no visible sign that the car had been touched. They even tried to keep the paint thickness as close to original as possible - this is extremely difficult or impossible to do, but I thought their efforts were highly commendable. An SUV I owned had some bad scratches on the fender and door. I was certain that these panels would need to be painted, but Nick suggested trying to sand out the scratches first, since he thought the scratches had not gone through the clear coat. This worked perfectly and the panels were as good as new, at a fraction of the cost of painting. Nick and his brother Sam are very personable and honest and will take the time to get to know you and remember your name. There are not many people in the car business who are as professional and competent as these folks and I highly recommend them. more

Cannot speak highly enough about my experience at Collision Plus II (""CP2""). Nick and his staff were very professional in the care of my vehicle. \r \r For reasons beyond my understanding, someone keyed the entire length of my truck's passenger side. I brought it to CP2 on referral from a close friend and coudn't be more grateful for the advice. Nick made the process painsfree from the first phone call I placed. He worked with my insrance adjuster and took care of everything. He even went so far as to investigate every opportunity to avoid repainting any surfaces.\r \r I'm no expert in this matter, but your insurance company may, at their discretion, report the nominal damages your vehicle incurred to 3rd parties (like Carfax), significantly affecting your vehicles resale value. As the painting process is often the most expensive endeavor in repairs, trying to minimize the amount of paint is often a way to protect your vehicle's value. Nick was proud to share his father's (owner) philisophy that 'if a surface can be saved without painting, why waste the money?' \r \r Although I hope to never need their services again, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. more

I was involved in a car accident not too long ago and i didnt know where to go. I would pass collision plus II on my way to work every day and i was always amazed by the type of cars they worked on. One day i would see a Rolls Royce, then a bentley, a ferrari you name it they""ve worked on all types of cars. I figured that this shops prices would be outrageous, but i went in one day to get an estimate. The staff there were so welcoming and nice. They walked around the car with me explaining me the damage, the process of the repair that was needed and just everything. I didnt have a single question. They did the estimate on the car,walking me through every added entry, and even showed me diagrams of my car and its parts. I know about cars, but the way they explained things to me was just so straight forward and comforting. I came to find out that the prices were just right, they didnt try and charge me for anything extra or crazy it was all straight forward. I felt so well informed and comfortable that i decided to leave my car that very same day. They even arranged a rental car for me and everything. My experince there was the best. I wont take my car anywhere else!! Just great great service! more

Nick and his staff made this the smoothest repair ever. After a hit & run on the entire right side of my Mini they made the transactions between insurance and rental company very smooth and hassle free. I was impressed with their knowledge of Mini Coopers too! The work on the car looks great. more
