When my ""cool"" friends from Miami found out I was moving to Plant City from Atlanta, and they ALL told me, ""You have to go to ""The Junction"". Being interior desigrs, I put it out ofmy mind thinking te place had to be MAJOR expensive.
It took m a while, but I was finally was settled. I needed a few accent pieces for my bedroom, den, and living room. Not liking the look of the new pieces my decorator had brought me, I thought I would pick my own. I remembered ""The Junction"" but could not find it listed anywhere.
After finally tracking down my friend, she located their card which read ""Collins Street Junction"". Oh, I know that place...""looks expensive"", I said to myself.
I finally made it downtown and was delighted with what I found. Several antique stores had great pieces, but I found COLINS STREET JUNCTION to have the best options at the BEST prices. After living in Atlanta--where everything costs a fortune, I was thrilled with the reasonable prices of this store. Face it, cost does matter in this economy!
In one afternoon, I found everything I wanted with money to spare--which I spent on a great brooch for my favorite blazer. Yes, they have jewelry, too...
COLLINS STREET JUNCTION has a variety of old and new items. Great vintage jewelry and vintage designs.
""The Junction""--Collins Street Junction-- is a wonderful place to spend on a rainy afternoon. They are open late on the 1st & 3rd Saturday nights and a few nights during the Holidays!
Face it!!! Plant City does not have a great deal to choose from in the ""Department Store Department"". However, with this store, I have been able to find pieces for my home that are one of a kind!!! And, last Christmas, ALL of my Christmas presents came from ""the Junction"". I found something for EVERYONE on my list--including my husband!!!
Go to COLLINS STREET JUNCTION. You will be thrilled with what you find!
