She has been an insurance agent since 2001, and an independent agent since 2002. Prior to joining the insurance industry, she spent several years in technical recruiting, network design and implementation, and seven years as an officer in the United States Air Force. She earned her B.S. in Computer Science from Weber State University, and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma.
