The Collenette School of Dancing was founded in 1926 by Beatrice Collenette, a protege of Anna Pavlova. Joan Collenette Damon continued the traditions started by her mother. Emily Bratmon has been a pupil and performer at the Studio for the past two decades and is the third generation teacher to keep the legacy alive. Ballet is a fascinatingart form which promotes life-She has attended California Institute of the Arts, has danced for the Pasadena Dance Theatre and has danced with the Salzburg International Ballet in Austria. long poise, posture, discipline, exercise, and in some cases a profession.
