I would really like to rate this company with a -1 star but that is not allowed. First of all it's obvious the only 5 star rating is put here by this company. Their staff is unprofessional and rude. I had a random call from ""Shane"" demanding a small amount when I stated I did not think he was correct and that bill was paid in full (meanwhile looking up my online banking account- it was). He informed I still needed to pay because there was a $10 service charge for setting up the account. So you want me to pay you for setting up an account that I already paid for to the company?!! I did ask to speak to a ""manager"" who really showed me exactly how this company is ranked so low. I was called catty when all I asked was can you please let me finish. I can't believe this is a local company where do they find these degenerates. I am guessing not business school. If you are business looking for Collections Company do not use them! They wouldn't even send me a statement/invoice to show me the billing. So I can just take the word of the ever helpful ""Shane"" and just pay them so they don't damage my credit. Thanks more

I had the worst experience with this company. I called about a discrepancy that was the fault of the Collection Bureau. I spoke to BETTY who was very rude and accused me of providing bogus information, which was untrue. After further investigation on my part, I discovered that it WAS an error on their part....the Collection Bureau was charging me for an error that was theirs, not mine! If I was allowed to speak without being rudely interrupted by Betty, we could have solved the problem. But she wouldn't speak to me like a civil human being. She hung up on me twice. She degraded my business ethics and accused me of things I never did. What a poor excuse for a professional in the work place. I reported this business to the BBB. more

First they call and its an automated system that sounds just like the kids school automated system. then some guy comes on the line threatening to sue me for a debt that's not even mine! he was totally rude and in the end he hung up on me. I sure hope someone somewhere teaches this guy a lesson in manners! They think they are professional but they act like a bunch of hired thugs! Ive seen mobsters with more manners then this company's employee's. You catch more fly's with honey then vinegar and I guess that's a lesson they have yet to learn! Its really a shame the city of Nampa hires these thugs! Shows just how corrupt canyon county is! more

I understand that the employees at The Collection Bureau are not providing customer service to the people they are collecting debs from and only to the people they are collecting debts for. However, this does not give them the right to treat people poorly. I have NEVER witnessed such unprofessional behavior in a law office in my life...and I've delt with alot of law offices. If I were Mark Clark I would be humilated to have someone like Betty representing my office. Her rudeness was truely the most appalling thing I have witnessed in a very long time. Regardless of what type of professional office you work for you should always conduct yourself in a very professional manner. Betty should definately seek some training on how to better handle herself in the ""supervising"" position she is in. more

Very Rude! Not easy to work with. Betty definately needs some customer service training. I realize they are in collections but very unwilling to work with people. Would not recommend...
