Cold Stone Creamery

Cold Stone Creamery is kind of expensive compared to other ice cream places, but it's worth both the cash and the calorie splurge! They have plenty of flavors of ice cream to choose from as well as a huge variety of toppings so you can make almost any combination imaginable. My favorite is the cheesecake ice cream with coconut, graham cracker crust, brownies, and fudge. Yes, it's decadent but I like my sweets! The only negative thing about Cold Stone Creamery is the employee policy where they have to sing every time someone tips them. It strikes me as a degrading practice, but you can always tip them slyly so they don't notice! more

This is absolutely, definitely my favorite ice cream store. Every time my sister comes home from college we go here. They are happy to give out free samples and also will make substitutions on their Creations line for you at no extra charge. I love the Cookie Doughn’t you Want Some – just substitute brownie for the chocolate chips. Their cake batter ice cream is just like eating from the mixing bowl. This place is the best! more

This is another place where you can either choose an ice cream flavor then add mix-ins or you can choose one of their flavor combinations (I usually stick with getting the Strawberry Shortcake Seranade). My favorite thing about the place (besides how delicious it is) is that they don't skimp on the amount they give you. A lot of times I order the smallest size and they make it so big they have to put it in a cup the next size up! My only complaint is that they tend to have one person work on one group at a time. Which means that if you are paying for a few other people by the time everyone gets their icecream yours will either be melted or you'll have eaten most of it. I think they should go in order of who's in line, no matter what group they are in! It's kind of a pain to be standing to the side waiting for the rest of your group to get their icecream. Oh well, it's still a great place to go. more
