Cold Stone Creamery is the best place in the entire area to get a good cup of ice cream. You can either choose from their own set "creations" or you can create your own creation. They have strawberry banana pie creation that is so delicious and amazingly tasty. I love how this ice cream is really rich and filled with flavor and rich ingrediants. Just be careful not to get too hooked to this stuff because no matter how good it tastes, its not so good for you. more

Creations 5/17/2006

Cold Stone is the newest addition to ice cream shops in Chicago and it is definitely a great addition too! Their selection of ice creams here and the way the prepare the ice cream is great. I usually go with one of their set creations (new york style cheesecake is my absolute favorite). The service here is great and the empolyees here are always super friendly and perky. I was here on Mother's day this past Sunday and they even gave me a FREE creation in celebration! more

Name one after yourself 3/15/2006

There are so many different possibilities at Cold Stone - enough that everyone who goes in there could make a unique creation, name it after themselves, and probably never worry about someone else coming up with the same thing. I personally like cheesecake ice cream mixed with butterfinger and white chocolate chips. The do usually have a list of suggestions for ways to combine all their yummy ingredients, but that takes all the fun out of it. Be creative and come up with something new - it's not that hard to do! more

I scream for ice cream! 3/14/2006

Coldstone is probably one of THE best places to get ice cream I know. This site is right in the heart of Old Town and a lot of fun to visit. When you give the servers a tip they usually break out into song. Something I just learned is that you can sign up online for their birthday club and get a free creation on your birthday! more
