I have been a loyal client for several years at this location. After a recent eye exam & selection of contact lenses, I was told by the Optometrist that I should consider new eyeglasses with my new prescription. Not liking any of the frame styles available I asked if it would be possible to have lenses made for my DKNY frames. Both the salesgirl & the Optometrist stated that this was a viable solution. Cohen's proceeded to break my DKNY frames, neglected to inform me about this in a timely & responsible fashion (all of a sudden they had a wrong phone number in my records), & the nasty little man that owns the shop refused to provide me with replacement frames of equal quality & value. He forced me to take the cheapest frames they carry, which i reluctantly did just to get away from his threatening & belittling attitude. These cheap frames broke in a week. I had to visit the nasty little man again to have them fixed. This nasty little man became belligerent & accused me of breaking them on purpose. I have written corporate regarding this & have yet to here back from them. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR ANY OF YOUR OPTICAL NEEDS - STEER CLEAR & SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE & HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE NASTY little man. more

I have always been a Cohens optical client just not at this location. Having resently relocated to the area I thought I would continue to use this chain because of familiarity. I found the owner to be extremely rude and unhelpfull and becomes violent when questioned about prices. He made me feel threatened and uncomfortable during my purchase. And when I had a problem with them he refused to fix a simple mistake on made on his behalf. As a parent I do not feel comfortable bringing my child into his establishment. I will be reaching out to corporate on this matter. And after speaking to over woman regarding his ethics they have all shared similiar horror stories envolves his business. more
