Coffee junkie 4/8/2006

So I'm originally from the Seattle Area so I thought there is no way I'm going to like this over my Starbucks. However I was pleasantly surprised. The taste of the coffee is much different a little bit sweeter and not as strong as Starbucks. I think they are geared more at younger adults as they have a lot of blended and sweet drinks. Although they still have the normal lattes and stuff. I love the white chocolate dream which is a blended drink. The only thing that bothers me is the staff never asks if you want your drink iced or hot and they are listed under both categories. So they assume you want hot unless you specify and I always forget so just remember. more

Starbucks is not the only answer 9/7/2005

I never knew about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf before I got to CA, but it won me over immediately. Their chai is unique and tasty, and the Black Forest blended is heaven. I hope to see it in a lot more states soon! more

Great coffee 6/22/2005

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is my favorite coffee chain. Even though Starbucks has taken over, I would choose Coffee Bean over them anytime. They are the first ones to create ice-blended coffee drinks, which are now everywhere. Yet Coffee Bean's still taste the best to me, especially their Vanilla Coffee Ice-Blendeds. You can even buy the powder to take home to make yourself. Prices are the same at about $3.50 a drink but worth it. They also offer you a customer card where you can get the 13th drink free. more
