Hidden location, awesome ambience, great food and service? 7/10/2009

I love the feel of this little independent coffee shop! So far it's the best mix of great feel, yummy food and drinks, fun and relaxing but not distracting music, and FREE Wifi. No, you don't get bumped off around mealtimes like at Panera. I prefer it over the other coffee shops in the area, and I've tried most of them. Plus, it's run by a fantastic couple who built it themselves and make you feel right at home. I only wish they were open later, but with this economy I understand that they couldn't do that without hiring another hand. Don't pass over this gem! Pros: Quality food, independent, nice atmosphere & music, ree WIFI Cons: Limited hours more

A refreshing experience that keeps me going back for more! 8/17/2006

This isn't your ordinary coffee shop! If I could give it more than a ten rating, I would. This place has it all from delicous sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, varieties of pastries(including cakes), and even ice cream. I was most impressed with the customer service, which made me feel very comfortable. My only complaint is that they didn't open sooner. I'ver made it a habit of going there a few times out of the week, and I'm glad I have. After many meals there, I've never been disappointed. Their slogan is ""Taste the Difference"" and I can easily say I have. If your looking for quality food with quality service, then The Coffee Barrel is the place to go. more

Much More than Coffee!!!!! 8/8/2006

Wow!\r Its like ""Cheers"" without the beers. My first name as I walked in on my SECOND visit was the first sign that this place is SPECIAL. I expected to get a good cup of Coffee but the Turkey on Sourdough I had put THE COFFEE BARREL ON MY DAILY TO DO LIST IMMEDIATELY! As a Customer Service buff I'm not an easy ""regular""! Nancy remembered not only my name but my order from TWO DAYS PAST, not thats ownership I assume. \r THIS IS A MUST FOR YOUR DELI, ICE-CREAM AND COFFEE ADDICTION. I'm a life long fan.....PLZ don't go anywhere!!!! Pros: MUCH MORE THAN COFFEE Cons: 10 MINUTES FROM MY FRONT DOOR more
