This theater attracts many known names in the entertainment business. You may see Kathlyn Turner, Dixie Carter, Hal Holbrook, and many others. The season starts in Sept. with Hal Linden in "Tuesdays With Morrie." They do a lot of prize-winning shows and try to alter them among drama, comedy and musicals. Prices are moderate and they have season tickets.
If it was not for the less than perfect seating, I would have given this theater 5 stars. Some of the seats I have had in the past had had obstucted views or I could not see over the heads of the person in front of me. (Hint: Do not sit in the mezzanine's first row. You will not be able to see the feet of the actors due to the bar in front. )
The theater has two showrooms; the big one for larger productions and a smaller one for more intimate shows. I have been in both many times and they are 2 different theater experiences.
