I attended the Outdoor/Landscaping Show in Denver earlier in the year when I was considering a home purchase in Evergreen. The home I ultimately purchased needed some outdoor living space improvements; which is why the convention was perfect timing for me. \r \r I spoke with a number of companies and ultimately chose CoCal based primarily on the professionalism and creativity of Patrick Richie.\r Once the snow melted, I asked CoCal (Patrick) along with three other companies to survey the property, develop ideas and manage everything to a realistic budget for me.\r Patrick listened to what I wanted, helped guide me to better solutions and made the process very easy; he won my business.\r \r When it came to the work itself and the team assembled by Patrick; I could not have been more impressed. The team's attention to detail and professionalism were simply outstanding. I was amazed to see how precise their cuts were and how they would not settle for anything less than perfection. The team worked hard and they are craftsman that care about their work.\r \r In about a week, my backyard went from an unusable, rough space, to an elevated stone paver patio with gas fed fire pit. This year our July/August water savings is even greater – about 48% over last year. We would recommend implementing the ET system for your community as well as using CoCal to implement this type of system. They know what they are doing and continue to give support after the installation. more

Working with Patrick was a pleasure, as he was very courteous and professional from the start, from initially mapping out the proposed landscape on the actual site to the polished, finished project. He took the time to zero-in on all the small details while keeping an eye out for the grand scheme (stone stairs vs wood stairs, placement of key trees, etc.). He is a master of hardscaping, and I would definitely call him first for any future projects. more

We got our landscape done with CoCal. They were awesome - work was top quality, finished on time and reasonable prices. Our backyard looks fabulous. more

We hired this company to maintain a large private trail and park system. To date, they've replaced all the springkler heads, a number of control boxes, and ruined most of our grasses. The installation which is about 4 months old now, has not been properly completed, and they've broken more equipment of ours than they've mainteained. Their machinery has caused the death of about 30% of our grass areas, and the local branch manager is worthless. If you're lucky, you MIGHT find one employee on their crew who speaks English. Pros: Nice bright yellow shirts Cons: Don't speak English, poor quality, even worse management more
