I've played this track a number of times and from the tips you had better be hitting the ol' driver long and straight or it is going to be a long day! This is one of the top three players courses in the Atlanta area in my opinion. My foursome always looks forward to coming to Cobblestone to play. Editorial
  • The Course
Designed and built in 1993, Cobblestone has racked up awards for being one of the better golf courses in the state. It's legendary for its ability to devour golf balls. The challenge lies in undulating moguls, narrow fairways, multi-tiered greens, magnetized sand traps and ultra-thick rough. You'll want to wield a confident sand wedge. Due to the heavily bunkered greens, approach shots are the key to scoring well. Don't get greedy; if you don't think you can make the shot, you probably won't.

    The Experience
The course, a project of Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, runs 6,759 yards with a par 71. Part of its beauty comes from its location on Lake Acworth. The clubhouse's outdoor patio on the 18th green offers a nice respite after a challenging round.
