Mr. Bruce Coane is an EXCELLENT ATTORNEY. Do not expect him to work for free for you, because he is not a volunteer (although, he works as a volunteer too). He will charge you less, or lets say, the same as other layers. Do not expect him to do a miracle for you, because he is not a superman. But whatever he is capable of, he will do it for you to the best of his abilities as a layer. Do not look at his personal history before you look at yourself. I have my own history, and when other layers refused to take my discrimination case, Mr. Coane was there for me. How can I say more THANK YOU to someone who cares. But if you are on a wrong side, of course he will do his job, but you may not be satisfied.. more

Excellent Attorney: Mr. Bruce and his staff handle my employment discrimination case and I'm proudly say that they were fantastic. They filled me in on everything that's going on in my case from start to finish. They fought for me and really believed in me. My case was settled and they got me the highest pay possible. Disciplined by State bar of Texas! Terrible attorney. Had been placed on probation by bar of Texas in the late 90s for misconduct. Get several quotes before you decide, trust your first impressions, and do your research before you spend thousands of dollars. I wish I had seen these reviews earlier. more

Exc lawyer 4/30/2012

In my experience Mr. Bruce is a great attorney, always very attentive and proffessional, my inmigration case was a success because of him. He is excellent and also his team, special thanks to Yolanda from the miami's office for all her help, she was always very helpfull and it was easyto me to comunicate with her because she also speaks spanish. Should have did my homework... 12/23/2011

Horrible Attorney After consulting with Bruce Coane about filing a case for VAWA(violence against women act), I decided to hire him. I paid $2000 down, and $500/month for 3 months($3500) total. He sat on my paperwork, and when I called to find out when he was going to file my case with immigration, his assistant said they didn't know. He was always in Florida when I called. His staff is rude and unproffessional and Bruce Coane is a crook. So far, he has refused mediation with the Houston Bar Asso. After he takes your money, he ducks and dodge. Do not hire him! more

Bad Lawyer 9/11/2011

He tells you what you wanted to hear, not what you can actually have based on U.S. laws. He had me filed a labor certification and I-140. He told me that I could get EAD and eventually greencard. I spend $6000+ for this service. I recently found out that those filings were totally unnecessary. Get my money back Bruce Coane! more

I was shocked to find he is still practicing law in TX. I had to leave this comment. This guy is the worst immigration lawyer. Do not make the same mistake I did. I had been a greencard holder for a long time. He filed my US citizen application because he said he was a board certified immigration lawyer and no problem. I don't know what he did but after filing citizenship application, immigraiton said they would deport me, then he told me that he could help me if I paid more money!!! more

Worst Immigration Lawyer, Do Not Hire 2/9/2011

I paid $150 to consult with Bruce Coane about bringing my fiance to the states on either a work visa or a fiance visa. Not only did he not know anything about fiance visas, but he advised me that certain forms can be filed online, which was not true. And the information he had given me during the consultation, was not updated, and only applied before 2006. He quoted me $3000, which was a little steep, especially when he did not give me the time and attention to my immigration questions. I did my research online and filed the paperwork myself, and my fiancee may be here in a few months. more

Horrible Experience, Don't Trust 2/8/2011

Mr. Coane handled my girlfriend's immigration case, and it was denied by immigration and naturalization service because either he or his staff failed to file the papers in a timely manner. We ended up hiring another law firm in his office building to file an appeal, which we won. The process was already stressful and his staff made it worse by not communicating with us. Find a trusted lawyer elsewhere. more

Professional, Honest, Smart, Creative, and Kind 2/7/2011

When I met Mr. Bruce Coane, he was kind and patient. He knew how the law worked and was able to take me step by step through the process of becoming an American citizen. This process can be very stressful and can take a long time of planning and organization. Mr. Bruce was able to guide me through these steps and really helped my life for the better. more

Proceed with caution 2/4/2011

I was very disappointed with the service that Mr. Coane and his firm provided me. Initially, I was impressed with the qualifications of this attorney as he came highly recommended so I hired him. His lack of follow up and attention to detail to my case ultimately led me down a road of frustration and months of aggravation. Often his office staff in Houston would give me the run-around and some answers were not complete. And Mr. Coane was very rarely available to answer any questions. Very rude office staff. more

I met mr coane thru a good friend that have known him for Over 30 years and very satisfied with his service and I was not disappointed after meeting with him They handled my divorce and immigration case I recommend him all my friends because I am pretty sure they will be satisfied What I mostly like about this firm is the fact that they are 24 hrs available And ready to work with you . more

Exceptional Lawyer and Good Communication 10/20/2010

We had talked with a few other attorneys before meeting Mr. Coane. After we met him and we talked in depth about our case, we just knew that we had found the perfect attorney for us. He was there when we needed him, even if our needs were small at the time. He was reassuring, but made no promises. Best of all, he won our case for us. Not only was Mr. Coane a great help, but his staff was fantastic. A very caring group. It sure helped us out during one of the most stressful times of our lives. Mr. Coane is an exceptional lawyer. He knows his information and law process extremely well. I would definitely use Mr. Coane again. He has been in the industry for some time now, and has many contacts that could help in some other situations as well. more

Best Immigration Lawyer! 10/20/2010

We have used Bruce Coane and his team of lawyers twice and each time they have made our green card process quick and simple. Bruce and all of his lawyers are very knowledgeable, professional, personable and courteous. He was able to simplify our case for us so that we always understood the process. If we ever had any questions Bruce was always very quick to get back to us with the answer. Compared to our previous immigration lawyers we have used in the past, Bruce keeps you updated on your cases and breaks down the process for you step by step. Which is very helpful given the intricacies of US immigration. We will definitely use Coane and Associates again and would recommend him and his team of lawyer to anyone who has any immigration issues. Thank you! more

Best Service Ever! 10/20/2010

Mr. Coane helped my cousin's family when many other lawyers told us there was nothing they could do for us. My cousin's family were on the brink of deportation and Mr. Coane helped us in a way no other firm could. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible 7/16/2009

Terrible experience they won't even talk to you 3 min if you don't pay hourly rates (120-200 dollars) after you already pay thousands and thousands dollars, very rude and unprofessional plus THEY KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DON'T CARE AT ALL.
