""My family and I recently stayed at Boulder Crest in Bluemont, Va. We were \r so fortunate to have this time away after a very hectic holiday. After a 10 \r hour drive we checked in and received a beautiful welcome basket, handmade \r quilt and an envelope with your sincere letter and very generous gift card \r inside. As a family we wanted to take a minute to express our gratitude, we \r spent an afternoon exploring town and finished it by food shopping with \r your card. Fast forward a few hours and dinner was ready. Roasted chicken, \r potatoes and vegetables galore enough to feed an army . Our neighbors were \r just checking in as I called in my daughter from the park outside. We \r quickly introduced ourselves and invited them over for dinner. We now have \r not only very full bellies but new friends hopefully for life. Friends who \r experience the same hardships as us and with the help of your \r thoughtfulness we were able to bond over a lovely meal.""\r more

Brandon is working hard on his recovery and now that the ostomy bag is removed, he is in much better spirits. He begins rehabilitation at the CFI next week and will have 2 surgeries the beginning of the year. There have been many transitions and changes at Battalion of the WTU and they are very positive. Brandon is being treated much better and has a whole new team of leadership, some of whom 11B, so he feels he can connect. I am very proud of the transition that has occurred since Brandon's last surgery- he has moved into the drivers seat and I have taken a back seat, only offering support as requested by him.\r more

I just wanted to touch bases with you and say thank you so much for advocating for our family! You will be happy to know that I have started a part-time position with an affiliate of Allied Barton. This position would not have happened without your networking! Between the part-time position with CSAH and this position with HR Plus, I am literally working full-time from home; answered prayer! I just can't thank you enough!\r more

""I just wanted to let you know that the support of you and your team have been such a blessing to me and my family. \r We just moved from a bad situation, and we were so worried about how we were going to pay our bills, \r especially now that there is a shutdown, so things seemed hopeless! \r Thank God for caring supporters and companies like yourselves! \r Thank you so very much, and God bless you all!""\r more

My name is Major General John K. Singlaub, U.S. Army (Ret.). I parachuted into Nazi-occupied France during WWII to prepare French Resistance fighters for the Allied invasion, trained Chinese guerrillas for operations against the Japanese, ran covert operations against the North Koreans and the Chinese, and commanded all U.S. Special Operations Forces in Southeast Asia. Now I’m working with the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, an excellent nonprofit organization that provides emergency aid and other support services to our troops who have been severely wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan.\r more

I am a writer by profession, yet I cannot find the words to accurately convey my gratitude to your organization. Your donation to my family allowed me to repair sub standard flashing & roof work that resulted in a ceiling falling on my son's bed. I was also able to immediately address collapsed pipes under my homes foundation that had caused substantial flooding. But more than physical repairs, you provided us a reminder that my husband's sacrifice is not unnoticed & we are not alone. Thank you from the botom of my heart.\r more
