I've eaten at Anthony's twice, and I haven't been impressed either time. The first time was Valentine's dinner a few years ago. They cut the menu in half, and doubled the prices...

I've eaten at Anthony's twice, and I haven't been impressed either time. The first time was Valentine's dinner a few years ago. They cut the menu in half, and doubled the prices. The second time was a business dinner. The food was average, but not worth the high prices. Service was good, but the atmosphere was lousy. The small restaurant feels cramped and I'm not sure if they have AC because it was very warm when I ate there. Basically, I think your money is better spent elsewhere. more

Authentic Italian 8/9/2005

Anthony's in Worcester is a real authentic (to my eye anyway) Italian restaurant. I didn't even recognize most of the menu but had the "Pollo Aragosta" and it was excellent. Kind of cozy and a little expensive, but the food seemed worth it. Note though that they don't take reservations, so plan accordingly, especially considering the small-ish size.. more
