Attractive setting, but the food . . . .
The seafood chowder is delicious. A sourdough hard roll or French bread would have been much more appropriate with it than the breakfast-type bread with cinnamon-honey butter that's served.
I ordered a chicken dish that had to be returned. First time I've ever done that in a restaurant. It was repulsive smelling. They cheerfully exchanged it for deep fried walleye that was good but not great. The manager visited the table to express regrets.
My husband didn't complain, but his food was almost inedible - overcooked, dry and very tough. No flavor.
Stick with the chowder and walleye if you have to eat here.
Pros: attractive
Cons: bad food, can be long drive
