I've been going to Club Schmitz since I was about 15 years old. . . and that was a long time ago, my friend. Oh, how I long for the days when they had pickled eggs on the counter. I'm not a big beer drinker but love the fact that before I sit down either Andy or Carol have me Dr Pepper poured and waiting for me. DMDC all the way, baby! I'm not sure who makes the better burger -- Tony or Norma -- but they're always the best. Pros: Best dang burger in the world! Cons: No plastic. (But the do have an ATM.) more

Best Burger Joint Out there!! 9/5/2008

Perfect food, fun environment....a must do! The place started in 1946. That is over 60 years of experience. I acually had my wedding reception there! Its a relaxing kind of enviroment! more

Great atmosphere, tasty food! 9/9/2005

Whenever I'm in Dallas, I try to make it a point to visit Club Schmitz. I enjoyed going there while in college, and I enjoy going there now. They have the best burgers, and I really like the atmosphere. The regulars are people from all walks of life and it's a great place just to people-watch if you enjoy doing that sort of thing. Pros: Inexpensive, Neat atmosphere, Good parking Cons: busy lunch more

Hole in the wall.....but in a very good way! 8/4/2005

This little bar/burger joint has been around forever. They even have a picture of President GW Bush wearing a Club Schmitz T-shirt hanging behind the bar. The burgers and onion rings are always great. The fries are OK. If you don't mind hanging with the regulars, you will have a very good experience here. It is well worth it. Pros: Inexpensive, Great burgers, Good parking Cons: Crowded at lunch time more
