I, too, have taken my pets to Dr. DeWitt for years, 15 I estimate. Many of my friends and acquaintances have followed my advice to take their pets to her for treatment and/or evaluation. Never have I heard a response to that advise but thanks. Those referrals are still taking their pets to Dr. DeWitt unless they have moved from the DFW area, have no pets at the present or they, the humans, have crossed the rainbow bridge. Yes, sometimes I have to wait according to the circumstances beyond anyone's control. Ditto to that being the same condition at my human doctor's office, especially when baby's decide to be born. Many times, especially during cold/flu season, I wish the human doctors would ask the contagious to go outside the building and if the weather were a problem maybe they should be told to sit in the car with their heaters/ac on for confort. I am certain my animals' conditions have made others wait because Dr. DeWitt has always taken the amount of time needed to provide the best treatment for them with genuine caring and compassion. I have always appreciated the way Dr. DeWitt has treated me with respect and dignity in my most concerned moments. The staff at the front desk? They are tremendous. Only if someone takes to time to look do they see. Each on of us in there wants instant gratification be it to run in to pick up RXs, special food, boarded animals, visit sick animals, pay a bill, call in with a question or see the good Dr. I know from experience they arrive early and stay late. True, you may have to wait your turn, there is no glass window to shut you out, but you are given their undivided attention when your turn comes. Maybe, only those of us that have worked with the public can understand the great job they do. The icing on the cake is that Dr. DeWitt's fees are usually in line if not less . The Dr. and Staff have gone above & beyond for me and mine. THEY ARE THE BEST!
Pros: Great Dr. & Staff with a personal touch
