Dr. Blais has been taking care of my pets for several years now and I have always found him to be a great vet. No, he's not cheap but I want the best care possible for my pets. His staff has always been caring and compassionate and they treat my pets as if they were their own. He has been a vet for many years and, in my opinion, is probably the best vet in the state. If you want great care for your precious pets -- go see Dr. Blais. I am proud to be a part of the Blais Family! more

Dr Blais and the staff are the best. I have been to others in the area and they are not. My pet is the most important one in my life and I want him taken care of, and when I have a question between appointment I can call or stop by and they will answer it for me. The staff is well informed and are thorough in check-ups. They caught an issue that the other vets did not, and he was well within a month. Now no longer any food issues, and my baby is much better for it.\r \r Dr Blais himself is very experienced and knows what he is doing. He is very concerned about the animal and truely wants too do the best for them. His experience helps because he know what to do with most issues with the animals.\r \r I am very pleased with Dr Blais, the staff, and this Veterinary Hospital as a whole. Everyone should give them a try. more

We had a very ill barn cat, but she just wasn't any barn cat, she was the only cat that really stoled are heart. Are vet was on vacation and it seem noone was able to take us for one reason or other. Dr. Blais was doing surgery, but that didn't seem to be a problem. He took us in, did examine,blood work and what ever it took. Miss kitty had to stay for several days with IV's and the care of Dr.Blais and his loving staff. They found out she had a uterine infection.She had to have surgery, mind you she had two little ones at home that needed their mother. Financial we where not shure how we could do this surgery, so we took miss kitty home for a few days on antibotics.We watched her improve, but knew after the antibotics was finished she would get sick again. We did alot or praying over the next few days. To make a long story short between Dr.Blais and his loving staff and an angel that came into ours lives, miss kitty had her surgery and at home improving everyday. SHE IS BACK, running the barn. So many little things I didn't say like, Dr. Blais or one of his staff members called everyday, sometimes several times a day to lets us know what was happening. She wasn't eatting so the staff member stopped at the store on her way to work to buy her food, anything to get her going. They all go above and beyond what they need to do.It is truely a miracle what goes on at this veterinary hosp.Thank you for what they did, for are, miss kitty will never be enough. more

Dr. Blais has been my vet for almost 20 years. He is absolutely the best vet out there. He has cared for my cats and dogs when they were sick and when they were well. While his prices are a bit higher than some, I just have to say ""you get what you pay for"". Good vet care is not cheap, and cheap vet care is not good. I want the best care for all my pets and that's why I go to Dr. Blais. more

Dear friend, Please let me tell you, if I an option for no stars were available I would take it! After spending nearly $1200 on a leg abscess we returned our poor cat to Dr. Blais ""care"" due to improper bandaging and swelling. He was curt, terse, and sarcastic even once tapping on our maimed cat's carrier and quipping ""shut-up"". We were charged $150 for this visit we had to make b/c of thier incompetence! When we asked the manager/receptionist to have the doctor explain the charges he refused. I handed over the cash and recieved blatantly smartass comments in return instead of simple answers to common questions. I could not run out of there fast enough. Please take your cherished animal friend elsewhere I beg you...Thanks for taking time to read this review; I hope it saves many people and animals time, money, and from undue discomfort. more

orst veterinary experience ever. The doctor and staff are horribly unprofessinal and the prices are outrageous! I was apalled at the care I received and the cost for things most vets don't even charge for. The receptionist refused to do his job, was unable to explain any of the charges, was bitterly sarcastic and rude. My pet was handled roughly and the veterinarian looked and acted like he was insane. I would NEVER take any animal there for any reason! The level of care was disgusting. more

We have a cat that is always dealing with constipation. We took her to Dr. Blais for another opionion. I have never had a vet that has called to see how she is doing and Blais Veterinary Hospital has called twice to check up on her. Very caring staff. more

Dr. Blais is amazing! He has been taking care of my kids for several years now and has always been the most caring, compassionate vet I've ever been to. His staff is excellent and you can tell they really love their jobs .. this is important because it shows they care for animals. You can tell Dr. Blais is an animal lover too as he talks to them like they are his friends. \r \r You can always get an appointment too. Even if they are booked up, they will find a way to work you in. Nobody is ever turned away because they are too busy.\r \r Thanks to Dr. Blais and his wonderful staff, my pets have stayed active and healthy for many years. more

I have a dog that had been being treated for a sore paw at another vet for two months, with no progress. So I thought I'd try another opinion...well after Doc Blais checked out my dog he knew exactly what was wrong, Within one week there was significant progress. My dog is today back to normal chasing frizbees just like he always did and loving life! Doc Blais saved my dog's life! I would refer Doc Blais to everybody I know! Pros: Compassionate and knowledgable Staff! more

The doctor is very nice as well as the staff, but the hospital itself is very run down and old looking. They don't have a lot of the newer treatments, or technology. Their prices are a little higher for their services than other vets in the area. They do give very good care to your pet though, and have a very good educational system (they have videos on a wide variety of procedures and health issues). more
