I know what can you expect from a dog warden or his or her employees? I would expect compasion at the very least. I picked up a stray (in clinton co.) this afternoon along the road I did not want him to get run over. I already have 6 dogs., or I would have brought him home. The man was less than an a.hole wanted to know if MY dog in the car was mine and if he were licsened. He took the poor dog and basically through him in a cage with no water. He couldn't wait to get back to the office where I had interrupted his lunch. I have stopped there many times looking for a pet and the gentleman there was always nice, helpful and informative obviously not the same man. I unfortunately did not get his name I just know he was there alone at 12:40 on 10-2-07. I feel I should have taken the dog back myself and tried to find the owners this will haunt me for a long time. I don't complain I have never written, called or asked to see a manager, but the poor animals in this mans care (I use the word loosely) deserve better!! It is not their fault they are there!!!!
