The scheduler accomodated my immediate request with same day service when other regional providers were unable to schedule an appointment for 1 - 2 days. She also took initiative to follow-up to ensure timely arrival as I had to leave work to meet techician. We recently purchased a new system from Climatesmith for our upstairs in this past year. After consulting with about 3 different companies we went with Climatesmith. The true measure of their value was quite apparent when we had some difficulty with our older downstairs unit and made a service call on Friday evening at 9 PM. I was blown away by the service I received today from ClimateSmith. My renter called this afternoon to let me know the A/C had stopped. I called ClimateSmith right away because one of my other renters had called them when I had a heat problem last winter, and everything went well, and they were cheaper to boot! Fortunately, they were able to get a crew on the scene super fast, like within 20 minutes or less of my call to them. That's amazing! I rushed down the street to the rental, and they had already inspected the unit in the attic and were heading outside. Thankfully, they found the compacitor had just gone bad, and it didn't have time to burn up the motor. Jason and Will had that part on the truck, and it was fixed lickedy split! Jason and Will had the A/C humming along in no time, and were the nicest, most clean cut gentleman. It's hard to find that in service technicians - these guys were true gems! And if you like smaller family run businesses who take pride in customer care and quality work - Climate Smith is for you! We needed a complete HVAC and ClimateSmith was one of the companies we met with. From the moment we called them, they were very competent and up front with us, I didn't have the sense they were giving us the spin or trying to double talk us. When we sat down with them, we found them to be personable, relateable, they had a good sense of humor and my wife and I got along with them really well. They also offer competitive prices compared to the other companies we looked at. Honestly, I had an affinity for them because as a small business owner myself, I felt that we are in similar positions. They're trying to grow and establish themselves and I had the feeling that they would try harder to build a better relationship with their customers, which I feel they did with us. When it came time to have the work done, they were extremely prompt and got here when they said they would. They didn't give us a window of time and then not heed to it like other companies sometimes do. They were professional, hard-working and even had time to teach a new guy they had with them the ropes. The only downside with the installation is that it probably could have been done a little neater as far as the taping, routing and line cutting goes. I mean, I guess it's as good or better then the last one, and maybe I'm being a little nit-picky, because nobody is totally perfect. And as far as functionality goes, it works just great. We thought we had one of our units go out one weekend, and Climate Smith was here very quickly. It turns out it wasn't the unit, just a switch that had been turned off or blown off. They fixed it right up. Then we had a problem with keeping one room in the house very cold 24/7. We thought we needed a bigger furnace, and Climate Smith was very good about replacing it, even though we didn't buy it from them originally. At the time, we were complaining about poor temperature control, so in addition to upgrading the furnace, they recommended for this one room that we might want to consider putting in another vent, which they did, and boy it made a huge difference! All in all, Climate Smith has been fine. They came out and inspected everything, replaced the filters, and they call in advance of coming if there was not an appointment. I'm just very pleased, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We were recommended to try them by an air conditioning service man from another company. He didn't go out of his way to do it, it just came up in the course of conversation. He said that we might want to give Climate Smith a try.
