I found that the staff at the Clifton Park Arena were very friendly. The reason there are no hours posted is because they are open based on if people are renting ice or if there is an event. I found that if there is a problem and you report it they will fix it right away. The ice is good and its obviously going to be cold because it is an ice rink. I also find it has good prices that are definitly fair because the expenses of an ice rink are large and if you dont like them nobody says you have to skate there. So overall I think this is one of my favorite rinks in the state. more

Rude 2/28/2010

I take my son there and the guy who runs it is always rude and snide. They are more expensive then albany's rink and not as friendly. The ice is okay but it gets VERY crowded and no supervision for the older kids who fly around the ice. The Locker rooms are alway dirty as well as the bathrooms. more

Ice Skating 4/8/2006

Ice skating all year long! This complex has 2 rinks and has open skate times almost every day including weekends. There are many hockey teams that play here including youth and adult teams. There is a snack bar and a skate rental/sharpening place. Every time I go they never have anyone working the skate sharpening thing, even if I call and they say they are open. Very frustrating. The rinks are a little colder than I would like, But overall a good time. more

Decent ice arena 3/22/2006

This is a nice ice rink. They do not have very good open sking times in the evening and it costs about $5 for open skate. I have played hockey here, and on the old rink it is hard to open the bench doors. The temperateure in there is very cold as well. The locker rooms always seem dirty. But they do have a womens hockey team. more

Lets go Skating 3/18/2006

Every time i go to get my skates sharpened here, they are not open. I even call before I come and when I get here there is no one working. Other than that I have no complaints. They have two ice rinks and decent open skate times on the weekends. The place is clean and uncluttered looking. The rinks are a little colder than I wold like, but it is an ice rink so i can not complain. more
