Purchased antique handgun from Cliff's via Guns America online classified ads. When I received the gun, I realized it had been mis-identified in the ad as a 6"" barrel when it was actually an 8"" barrell handgun. I called Cliff's who agreed to take the firearm back. I shipped the firearm back insured with tracking. Cliff's received the firearm, but claimed that the plastic form inside the box was damaged (not the gun), and said theywould not provide a refund. My total cost in purchasing and returning the gun was over $1,100. Cliff's never provided a refund and kept me hanging on (keeping me thinking they would work with me) for long enough for me not to pursue a charge reversal through the credit card company, and also beyond the time to provide feedback on GunsAmerica. Very deceiptful. I usually was only able to speak with one of his employees who was always friendly, but couldn't make decisions. The only time I actuallywas able to speak with Cliff, I realized he had no intention of making things right, and just wanted to string me along. He paid $800 to the person he had the gun on consignment from, so he made several hundred dollars, and kept it all. Very greedy. Maybe he's OK to work with if you're local, but he will rip you off if necessary if you are not. He's got the gun, the profits and I am out the $$$. I'll proivde this feedback everywhere on the internet I can. Hope this is worth it to him. Don't do business with this rip-off artist.
