On April 14, 2011, I brought my car to Clems Transmission Auto Shop, to be repaired. I was told the same day that someone would contact me with an estimate. No one called so I had to call. I was then told that they were unable to even look at my car that day but would do so the next morning. On April 15, I still had not received a call or estimate. Once again I called and was told someone would call me before the end of the day. The end of the day came and still no call. At this point the shop had my car two days and I still did not know when it would be looked at or when I'd receive an estimate. The following morning I called again and assured repeatedly that my car would be looked at that day. The day went by in fact a whole five days went by with no call, no estimate! At this point I was now eight days without a car, I'd received no communication from the shop, other than when it was initiated by myself. After three and half weeks later I received my car after once again I initiated the call myself that it was finally ready! Not mentioning the estimate I was given was not the same when I picked up the car. I was DESPERATE at this point and very DISAPPOINTED with customer service also the lack of commutation! I'm writing this review to make the shop and other consumers aware of the service I received at Clem Transmission. I would not have been so upset at the delay in the repairing my car if someone had the courtesy to just keep me informed! The NOT knowing and wondering was very frustrating and showed very little RESPECT for my TIME and MONEY!
