Worst

The course is very crowded and there is no effort to speed up play. A six hour round is the norm.

Go play on 42 street instead.... 8/1/2005

It would be more fun hitting the ball down 42nd street. Reservations mean nothing here. The ground is harder than a bowling ball. Greens are far from green. The wait on each hole is 20-30 min. Other golfers are not nice - Someone actually picked my ball up and threw it! more

Not Bad 7/14/2003

I've played many rounds of golf and for a city course, this place is not bad, boardering on pretty good (for a city course). Greens are well kept but grass is a tad long so the puts are slower, and slighty bumpy but nothing to rage about. Tee boxes could use a little attention, but fairways are decent. Play is easy if you hit-em straight. No dog legs so its kinda boring, but conditions are good so that makes up for it. Give it a shot, I mean you can't go wrong at $34 a round. Took 5.25hrs for a round Pros: Decently kept, Wide Open, Inexpensive Cons: Tee Boxes, Course Design, Slow play more

First Hole 3/13/2003

Finally you got to tee off 1 hour after your tee time ,and you finish the first hole thinking ok the wait is over, think again the next hole the par 5 you will be sitting around a good 30-40 minutes before teeing up again that is when i go home if you ask me don't bother Cons: waiting, waiting, waiting more

Crowded 3/4/2003

The course is very crowded and there is no effort to speed up play. A six hour round is the norm. more

Not Good 12/15/2002

This course is in terrible shape. Drainage problems, greens are beat up and bumpy. more

Boring course, but in good condition 6/24/2002

This is not a bad course, however every hole is exactly the same, straight. The only difference is the yardage. Very little water and very few bunkers. The greens were in ok condition, standard with publicly owned courses I have played in Texas (where I am from). However, there are way too many people working here who don't know a damn thing and really are just taking up space--something indiciative to New York. It took nearly 45 min to check in and pay... and then it took another 30 min to get a cart and start playing. Pros: good condition Cons: too much staff, all holes alike, no bathrooms more
