Both Dr. Black and Anderson show true compassion in their jobs and love of animals. I have taken my labs to them for the past 10 yrs and will continue to do so as long as I have my dogs. Prices are affordable and they do not charge you for unnecessary charges. more

Drs. Black, Anderson and staff have been treating our varity of pets for almost 2 decades. They are wonderful, caring and reasonably priced. While we moved to Everett years ago we still continue to use them our vet. It is worth the trip. Keep p the excellent work and good luck in the new facitlity. more

Dr. Black is a first-class veterinarian who comes by his love of the job honestly. As a true animal lover, he will offer compassion and care to your animal. We have been taking all of our dogs to Clearview Animal Hospital for as long as they have been there. The people are wonderful. The vets treat our pets like their own. I can't say enough positive about them. more

I've had 6 dogs and 8 cats through Clearview's staff's caring hands over the last 20 years. So far only have had to say farewell to 1 cat at 18 and one dog (also at 18). My remaining 5 dogs are all already a year past average life span. Every time we go there not only are the animals treated with the utmost respect and kindness, but their human pets are as well. Dr. Black is the most kind, caring vet I've ever met. I've worked for vets as an assistant and my many animals have been the patient at many others. I have never met a man that so clearly genuinely cares. You see his warm heart when you look into his eyes. He will do everything he can and won't pad the bill with unecessary costs. He's so honest and treats your animals as if they were his own. He will take them home and sleep with them himself rather than lock them in a cold cage and make them suffer more while they are sick. There are no other vets in my opinion. more

Dr. Black and his staff have been taking care of my cats and dog for several years. They obviously care about the people as well as the animals. A couple of weeks ago, we had to euthanize my 15 year old husky. Dr. Black and his staff could not have been more compassionate. They gave us time to say our goodbyes. Dr. Black was so gentle and careful with old Nick. He spoke to him (and us) very softly. He explained what was happening during each step of the procedure and made sure that Nick's departure was very peaceful. There was no talk of money after the procedure. They sent us a condolence card. Then the bill came later when the time was more appropriate. The clinic also helped us handle the details of handling Nicky's remains. I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Black and his staff. They will have my business as long as I have pets. more

The staff at Clearview faced a dilemma that happens all too often: someone who couldn't afford a vet waited until the last minute until they brought their cat in, moribund. The cat in question had been in labor for two days and a bad presentation prevented the kittens from being born. So here was the dilemma: to perform an emergency operation for free, or to give up and euthanize? Sometimes it is a tough call, because you can't save every animal... and you can't afford to, either. Luckily, these folks care enough about the animals to have treated the kitty. Her babies were dead, and she was close to it herself. The owner gave all rights to the cat to the vet, and thus began the long recovery and rehabilitation period. That is where I came in. Ellie had lived at the vet's office after the operation and while everyone there was nuts about her and liked having her there, it eventually became obvious that she really needed to find a new permanent home with a loving family. Luckily, I had been the first one to respond to the ad, and after being checked out by Purrrrrfect Pets, I finally was able to take this wonderful kitty home. Ellie has been the best-loved animal of my home, -- and that love also extends from all the other animals that live there. My two dogs are nuts about her, and would give up their lives protecting her if they had to. My donkeys think she is great fun, and she loves to tease them whenever I have her out on a leash. She even gets along well with the birds, poultry, bunnies, and other animals that live here or come through here and sometimes need more attention and care by temporarily staying in the house. I really can't imagine life without Ellie. And it never would have happened if the staff at Clearview hadn't cared enough to save her life -- and also loved her enough to let go of her so that she could come live with me. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff that work at Clearview. Thanks, folks! more
