I'm confused as to why there is a review saying there's no patient contact. I seriously don't know what more they could want. I've had mail in my mailbox and email almost daily, plus a DVD that arrived, giving me even more information. I even laughed, telling my family that my procedure would be cheaper if they weren't paying for so much mail! :D I went for my consultation two days ago, and found everyone there to be friendly and comforting. The office is very nice, clean and comfortable and everyone is very patient in explaining what they are doing, what will be done, and what the expectations afterwards are. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is the demeanor of Dr. Gibson. I felt he was rather short and condescending with me, in lecturing me about my disposable contacts being three months old. It was a fair lecture in his defense, but when I explained why that was the situation, I thought that lecture would end. It didn't. Instead, I feel like he thought I was just a little simple and didn't get it, and he appeared frustrated. I didn't appreciate his "bedside manner" at all really, but I'm not there to make friends. I'm there because they have an outstanding reputation among friends and colleagues of mine, they answered every question I had with my 100% satisfaction and I believe in what they are doing for me. The rest of the staff there more than made up for his lack of congeniality.
