Awesome sweet tea! Onion rings are great! They can be shared with 2-3 others if you're ordering a meal. I haven't had anything that WASN'T good there, so surely I'm there when the good cooks are working. :-)) Besides, everyone has different tastes & likes. That's why there are different restaurants...stick with the ones YOU like. I'm sticking with Clear Springs. more

When we went for lunch it was packed. Not a bad thing for them but we needed to get something quick. We let our waitress know that we were in a hurry and she got our food out to us quickly! I ordered the chicken club salad and my co-workers ordered chicken fried steak and the fisherman's platter. My salad was really good, but the chicken fried steak seemed to have too much gravy on it. I ordered combo crawfish etouffee and coconut shrimp w/ a side of green beans, dirty rice, and hush puppies. the sides for this combo originally comes w/ french fries, pinto beans, cole slaw and hush puppies. I also ordered cajun gumbo. Crawfish etouffee tasted like a marinara sauce w/ crawfish in it. The bell pepper used in this dish was not tender at all. Let's just say, this crawfish etouffee tasted like spaghetti w/ crawfish and rice. The hush puppies were very overcooked. It was not moist, but hard and crunchy. The cajun gumbo was decent. I thought it had too much green bell pepper than anything else. The coconut shrimp was a bit dry for me. The sauce that came with it was mediocre. I found that it did not compliment the shrimp as much. The green beans were excellent. I think that's the only thing that I actually enjoyed. Overall, I will not be coming back to this restaurant. Went there with my daughter on a recommend from on of her co-workers. Twenty minute wait on Friday evening, which isn't bad. Saddled up at the bar to try one of their Margaritas. I've never had a Margarita that was clear. By the third one, after some 'coaching' of the bartender (ya gotta add some lime juice and triple sec), I got an outstanding Margarita on the rocks.
