The folks that own this place are just regular folks. Their Inventory is a wide array of Old, New and even Yard Art. This is the only place in Town where I could buy Straw. They'll even will sell you Eggs or you can buy the Chicken that Laid the Egg. Truly a great place, however there are people that dislike the Old and soiled look. You know those folks that move to the Country and then want to change it to look like Ballard or Fremont......We love to go there just to mine for the unusual old western stuff. They even had a Saddle that was used by Will Rogers Jr. that was made in 1939 and used in a Wild West Show that came through the area in the late 40's. I would recommend you just stop by to visit with the Old Ranger or Cowboy Jack - They sure have Characters and you'll get to meet some of the Town Folks. Please tell me there is another option in this town? I have decided after this experience, I would rather drive the extra 30 miles to the nearest hardware store that is not run by these people. I have never encountered such a rude and uncaring business and I have been in some hairy places. This business has no care or concern for their customers or anything they might have to say. I was excited to begin my new life here in what appears to be a beautiful town, but after this, if the rest of the town is the same in manner, I might just have to pack my tail between my legs and run back to home sweet home. more

This store is known by more than a few to treat its customers and employees with immense disrespect. My personal experience with them has left me in a state of shock. The blatant dishonesty is is like something out of a horror movie. It is hard not to shop at this store when in Cle Elum as they are ""the only game in town"".
