Complete disregard for customer service.I waited in line for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. I would not support their business. Waist of time.

Surcharge 7/21/2014

Pay close attention to the scale. You're being charged extra for the paper the fish is wrapped in. They don't tare the scale. Happens much too often to be an over sight or mistake. more

Great Crabs and fresh seafood 2/13/2012

Just recently moved from MD and was worried that I wouldn't be able to enojy steamed crabs. Went to Claytons over the weekend and my fears are now gone. Ordered 2 dozen mediums and every one was nice and heavy. They steamed them with extra Old Bay (they'll clean them for you, but to me the best part of eating crabs is the social experience of sitting outside and doing that yourself) and did a perfect job; none of the crabs had mushy over-cooked meat. They even give you a free beer while you wait! I was driving up to Wild Ocean for my fish and shrimp, but now that I've found Claytons right down the street I won't bother. more

Best fish I ever ate 5/16/2010

I stopped in becasue we were having company and I wanted to put some fish o the grill. Not to sure of what I should get, I asked the girl at the counter what would be good on a grill and how much should I buy for 4 people. She suggested the snapper and said that two should be enough. She gave them to the guy in the back and he cut the heads off and took out the guts. I wrapped them in foil with , some corriander, salt,pepper and olive oil. It was the BEST fish I ever ate. Very fresh and so tasty. I will definetly go back. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. more

Best choice of blue hard shell crabs in the area 5/1/2009

Good: Always can get live blue crabs when reserved a week in advance. Drop in crab purchases are also possible. Premiums are the best and most expensive. Worth it!. Bad: Can't think of anything?. Improvements: Wish the store were in my town instead of Rockledge. I'd be there every day.. Other: Get the crabs double bagged. Ice them in a separate plastic bag. I am a permanent customer. Live here but came from Baltimore. Steam my own.. more

The Freshest Seafood! 8/26/2005

Clayton's has fresh fish & crabs. You can buy the seafood fresh or frozen, and they have just about anything. By far the largest variety. The prices are very reasonable. more

Seafood Market in Melbourne/Rockledge/Cocoa 10/25/2004

Simply the best seafood market I have found in this area. Ask the staff what is fresh and has not been frozen. Hard to find seafood is available but usually frozen. more
