Valentine?s Day 2012 I ordered half a dozen roses, half a dozen lilies, and a faux marble vase along with a stuffed bee. The order was placed and payed a week in advance. The day of Valentine?s Day my wife received a cheap glass vase, with roses that were freezer burned with torn petals. When my wife called me and expressed her disappointment I immediately called them at 11 AM. They seemed sympathetic to the mistake and promised to call me back. At 1 PM I decided to call them back and explained the entire issue again. They promised that they would send the driver with the right arrangement to my wife before 4 PM. At 4 PM the driver called me and said that he would go to my house with the arrangement. After waiting for 45 minutes he arrived with a second arrangement. The arrangement was lacking the lilies and the roses were again burned and wilting. I again called the florist and after some arguing they instructed me to keep both arrangements (despite my wife wanting to send both back) and go to the shop the next day and I would be given a refund. So the next day I went to the shop as agreed and the owner was not there. After some time the employee managed to track her down and again explain the whole situation. She then instructed the employee to only give me credit for another arrangement. I refused the credit and spoke to her on the phone. She explained to me that my expectations were too high and that all the money had been deposited in the bank. When I explained to her that I would tell others of this story she began to yell and I handed the phone the employee. So in the end I spent $150 and ended up with two terrible arrangements and a disappointed wife.
