Classy Clippin' Dog Grooming

There needs to be a ZERO star rating available for places like this. I am also leaving a review to warn others about taking your four-legged family members to this place. Please see Lauren C.'s review. The cutest little Yorkie I ever met, Oliver, died yesterday while being groomed at this place. Gross negligence on their part, and no one should have to lose their pets like that. And to make matters worse, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT A DOG HAS DIED WHILE IN THEIR CARE. I just got a call from a local news station and they confirmed it!! Stay away!! Spread the word!!! more

Today is a very sad day. My friend waited a month to get his little yorkie Oliver in for a grooming appointment. They called to let them know Oliver was ready for pickup and minutes later when they arived to pick him up, the groomer called to say Oliver had died. Oliver was only 6 years old and about 3 pounds. Supposedly, they were trimming up his face and oliver jumped back a bit and fell off the table. WHY WAS HE NOT SECURED! The trauma to his head killed him. This is negligence and very very disturbing. Even if a groomer is busy, take the time to do the job right. For the safety of your beloved animal, I suggest you go elsewhere. more

After sending my dog there for seven years, I will never send her back there again! We used to send our Shih Tzu there every two months or so for grooming. Each time we sent her, we'd tell them not to spray or put powder on her after her cut because it makes her itchy. Sometimes it was a hit or miss if they listened or not. We would tell if they sprayed her, because then she'd start scratching and would have an open wound on her neck from so much scratching. If she came home not scratching, then we knew they listened to us.\r \r Nevertheless, we kept sending her, tell them no powder each time, and if she would start scratching, we'd just rinse her off...no big deal. They cuts were decent and it wasn't that hard to just rinse her.\r \r This last time we took her, when she came home, I noticed that they cut her hair so short, that you could actually see her skin, with various red spots all over her body. Then she was scratching all over her body! My poor doggie now has three large open wounds by her neck and under her chin, one behind her ear, both ears are bleeding AND between her eyes! \r \r When I called to complain, the owner was nice enough to offer that we bring her in for a rinse, but umm, my dog already has all these open wounds and she looks like she's in pain!\r \r You would think that after seven years of us repeating ourselves, they'd get it. Not sure if it was an inexperienced groomer who cut my dog's hair, but it was just awful. more

My Cocker Spaniel hated grooming. When I would go to pick her up I would peek to see how she reacted to the groomers on a personal level. She was always so happy wagging her tail....She has since passed away but now I have a new puppy. I can tell you without reservation that I would use this company over and over again! more

I have been a customer for more than 6 years and have always been happy with the service and products at Classy Clippin. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable on pet care and products. It's a fun shop. Very busy, make your appointment in advance! \r \r They carry Solid Gold dog food(no recalls there). Solid Gold is made in the US and there isno wheat, corn, or soy. No fillers and no preservatives. Wheat and corn are two of the worst allergents for dogs. It effects their whole system but skin and coat, ear infection, chewing of the feet are the most visible reactions.\r \r Their shampoos are all natural, too. They use Natures Specialties.
