New Location Isn't Better 2/1/2013

There have been numerous times I call to make an appointment and sit on the phone for 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer. Then when they make an appointment, I find out after the fact that they did not set me up with a doctor but rather a physicans assistant. Yet they call them doctors? Isn't that against some law? Person I had was extremely rude. Been there a few times while the location is nice, not impressed. more

No hurry 11/29/2010

Do not enter this place unless you have two to three hours to spare. Have been twice, albeit with no appointment, they are 'Urgent Care' afterall, first time waited two hours before seen by Doctor second time I gave up after an hour and twenty minutes and when to ER. There is NOTHING 'Urgent' about this place more

Dr. Tim O?Neil is a fantastic physician. 4/14/2009

Dr. Tim O?Neil is a fantastic physician.\r \r I just started going to him because my prior physician moved to Farmington Hills. I have been seen 3 times and every one was excellent. It is sometimes difficult to get an appointment with him, but that should be taken as a good sign. He was very quick to put all my symptoms together and refer me to Dr Succar for a Tonsillectomy. Now that the procedure is done, I?m finally sleeping well and not getting sick all the time.. Thank you Dr. Tim\r \r The facility is very clean and large. They have a lot services conveniently located on site. This simplifies my life. Everyone that I?ve come in contact with seems to be pretty nice, which is odd seeing that they are dealing with sick people all day. I give them a lot of credit for doing that type of job. more

Complainers 4/14/2009

Why is it that all the complainers leave the same messages on every web site out there.. I've actually had good experiences at the Clarkston Medical Group and figured it would be nice to post some POSITIVE THINGS!! Since it seems only the angry people like to post!! Adding to Dr. Thomas's quest to do no harm - or do no anything 2/15/2009

Went to the ER on a very snowy and dangerous sat am with a bloody nose that was hemorrhaging... packed in a towel, with all the stuff I could use to keep from bleeding even more. In walks Dr Thomas and says - what do you want me to do...its a bloody nose, it will stop. It had been bleeding for 2 hours at this point and had finally slowed up. He didn't look at it. I told him that the last few days previous I was getting a sinus infection and had been blowing green. Use OTC for the symptoms was his reply. 4 days later I was back and made Dr T O'Neil very aware of my dislike for Thom-ass and his manner. At this point the infection was full blast and I needed steroids for the inflammation and anibiotics to kill the infection. The disgusting amount of phlegm and pain I had to endure for several more days while making sales calls was horrible. Would still go to the clinic but never let him treat me again. more

unhappy service 8/20/2008

I went into urgent care with chest pains. Nurses were great and new more than the doctor. The doctor walked in asked a few questions and said I can't treat you go to ER. Charged me $145 dollars for this advise. On the receipt was paid amt. only no doctor name or treatment. I went to ER and it was an intestinal obstruction. Which cost me over $1000 to get this diagnosis. I have no insurance so this was not only a costly visit but an inconvience. The doctor didn't seem to be interested in "trying" to figure out what was wrong. They are not a good deal and I would not recommend them. \r Also, a few months earlier my granddaughter went in possible broken arm. They said no not broken. Two days later indeed it was broken and confirmed by a real doctor. \r \r We all know who I am talking about by the previous reviews.\r \r Save time and money go to ER more

Overall great, Some doctors stay away from! 2/19/2008

I agree with the evaluation of Dr. Thomas. We took are very sick baby after hours and got him. He gave me this attitude of "I'm the doctor, you're only the mother." And finally declared that our baby didn't look dehydrated to HIM and he was sure it wasn't the roto virus. I was fuming, the next morning I took him to our pediatrician there (Dr. Abraham, who is wonderful). He took one look at our baby and said yes he is dehydrated and sent us right to the hospital where our baby had an I.V. and declared to have the roto virus. Another doctor to watch out for is Dr. O'Neil senior. I have a lot of respect for this man. But he was old when I was a child. Now 25 years later, my husband was recently seen by him. x-rays were taken of his foot. Dr. O'Neil told him it was a few torn ligaments, put him in a 1/2 cast w/ pain meds and told him it would heal. We even asked him if we needed to see a specialist or if surgery would be needed. He said No. We didn't get to see the x-rays. To more

Stay away from Dr. Thomas!!!! 1/22/2008

I've lived in the Clarkston Area for years and most of my family, many friends and many colleagues have gone to Clarkston Medical Group. The service there is inpeccable and I and my child and spouse have receieved fantastic care there...until we met Dr. Thomas. See anyone there, but if Dr. Thomas walks into your room...ask for someone else. This individual obviously does not care for his job. He has the power to heal...imagine that...but would rather channel this power into making us mere mortals feel as though we are a waste of his time. When you're sick, you're usuallyy at your most vulnerable and he knows that as any doctor should. Meet him and you'll know that this is an individual who would rather make the patient feel worse than better. The single most awful doctor I have ever met and even the staff said he's that way with everyone - other patients and even the nurses. Dr. Donald Thomas. Remember that name. What a shame that such a fine group allows him to continue his more

Will not recommend 6/29/2007

Good for emergency or late night walk ins but as a primary physician think again Pros: 24 hrs Cons: thumbs down for service and staff more

Good place to go after hours 7/10/2005

This is a great place to go for a minor to a little above minor emergency's, but I would recommend different doctors for daytime hours. Thye are good for emergency's but twice they have told my relatives that their children's illness could be due to drinking, which they didn't do. It is a clean clinic and they are really good with small children ,like ear infections or flu's. PROS: 24 hour clinic, good for small children CONS: don't treat teens too great more
