Horrible experience at this dentist office. Went there for a cavity, after finding out I did not have insurance he quickly informed me that I would be needed a root canal followed by a crown and I needed $1,900 cash my next appointment which they insisted I scheduled right away. He informed me that if I didn't get the procedure done they would have no choice but to pull the tooth and since it was in my "" smile zone "" and I was such a ""pretty looking young lady"" he would hate to have to do such a thing. At the time i was also 7 months pregnant, he kept reminding multiple times me if i waited how hard it would be to be a "" New Mom"" with a toothache, basically intimidated me into making a appointment right away. the nurse told me my appointment would cost $29.00 the amount of an x-ray, a couple minutes before leaving he asked if he could clean out the cavity for me since it possibly could have impacted food, to which I agreed. He cleaned the cavity with three squirts of air and a quick floss. When I went to the desk to pay my $29.00 the secretary informed me that I owed an extra $70.00 for the dentist cleaning the cavity. I'm no dentist but $70.00 for three squirts of air and a quick floss seems like a rip off to me, feeling taking advantaged of I payed the amount and left. Determined to seek a second opinion, I made an appointment with a new dentist and explained my symptoms, she asked that I bring a copy of the X-ray I had revived since being pregnant they didn't want to repeat any type of X-ray. When I went to get a copy of my X-ray the receptionist was nice untill she asked the reason I was picking it up, to which I replied to get a second opinion, she became VERY rude and reluctant to give them to me. Seeing the second dentist he informed me I did not need a root canal or a crown, that I simply had a cavity. And that I could wait untill after my son was born to get it filled and it still wouldn't be bad enough to need a root canal. Long story short this dentist office is all about sponging you for as much money as they can, regardless of your health. I would NOT recommend this office to any one, once he heard I was paying cash my visit went from $29 dollars to an extra $77, being $99 dollars total, and my cavity went from a filling to a $1,900 dollar Cash only procedure to which I didn't even need. Using the fact I was pregnant and referring to how hard it would be as a "" New mom"" having tooth issues and how I was a pretty young lady who didn't want to have missing teeth in my smile zone, he bullied me into making an appointment that day. I feel like he had no regarded for me or any stress he would be putting on my unborn child, he simply was money hungry, stay clear of this dentist office.
