The staff at Nob Hill Animal Clinic were amazingly helpful when I needed various documentation for taking my cat abroad with me. They were impressively patient with me as I struggled through the highly bureaucratic process. Despite my own schedule changes, they continued to be as flexible as was possible with theirs. I appreciate Dr. Gehlen's gentle and caring approach to handling my cat during his physical. She handled my long, long list of questions equally tactfully. I am certainly willing to go out of my way to bring my cat to her when he is in need of veterinary care again. more

I find the whole staff at Nob Hill to be caring and professional but I especially like Dr. Gehlen's way with my cats. She is gentle and thorough, and tries to avoid invasive measures when possible. She clearly adores animals and has great respect for them as individuals. She is a wonderful vet. more

Dr. Ghelan is one of the greatest people, let alone vetrinarians that I've had the pleasure of dealing with. (No, I'm not a friend of hers, just a client.) She has always taken plenty of time to get to know eaach of my animals, make sure they are handled and treated with the least amount of stress possible, and they all get top notch treatment. All the staff is fiendly, caring and available. Trusting someone with the health and well being of a well-loved member of the family is scary. Over the years, Nob Hill Animal Clinic has really gained my trust. more

I can't say enough how great I think Dr. Teresa Gehlen is. She's been taking care of skipper for 18 years now. She is very compassionate and caring. Skipper has gotten through cancer and dr. Gehlen has been there for us all the way. Thank you Dr. Gehlen! more

I have experience with three veterinary clinics in town. We recently moved here and have dealt with more than a few veterinary visits with our cats. Nob Hill is the first clinic that has impressed me. The staff is very nice and seems to handle situations well. They are the only clinic who has sent me a "welcome" card as a new client, AND they are the only clinic who has ever called to check in on my pets after being treated. These are the most basic of customer service skills a veterinary clinic should provide and yet after working with and providing much money to other clinics, NOB HILL is the only one who has offered this kind of support. Our veterinarian at Nob Hill has been responsive to our needs and also our cats' needs. They have been handled with finesse and care at each visit, as have we. I feel relieved to have found a clinic I trust. Thanks Nob Hill! more

It seems my experience with Nob Hill Animal Clinic is quite different from the other user who rated this place. I have gone round and round with this clinic, attempting to get my cat treated for (what I've been told by other vets) is a relatively common issue. Rather than doing the necessary testing to ensure that my cat's problems aren't a symptom of a larger issue, the staff here keeps trying the same thing over and over again. Albert Einstein says that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well, based on this definition, I feel that Nob Hill Animal Clinic is the epitome of the word "insanity". I have paid them several several hundreds of dollars in ONE MONTH for ineffective treatment, yet they refuse to try something else. I mean, the vet wasn't even aware of a popular, frequently prescribed, common medication used for cats that have the problem that mine has! Talk about ineffetive! Cannot reccomend this office to anyone. I feel I'm suffering your pet to unecessary pain if I do, and suffering you to paying exorbrant fees and costs for treatment that doesn't work. NOT reccomended at all. Wish I could give this place ZERO STARS more

Upon moving to Yakima, we found Nob Hill Animal Clinic as the vets to take care of our cat, Penelope, who was suffering from Cancer. Their staff is so nice and caring and they were just super not only as we dealt with the cancer itself, but also when it came time to have our cat humanely euthanized. They were very compassionate and sent a condolance card the week afterwards, which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. Their prices are not expensive, which was a blessing because feline cancer can be very costly to treat. They were always willing to talk to us on the phone and dealt with our issues promptly and efficiently. more
