Fun afternoon visit 11/14/2005

I recently took my 8 year old nephew to Clark Planetarium one afternoon. We both had a blast looking at the different exhibits. I loved watching him be so "into" what he was looking at...that look on his face was priceless. We both enjoyed the exhibit that featured the sun. It was so cool. We didn't see a movie this time around, but we will for our next visit. My nephew picked out a cool trinket in the gift shop. He is still talking about his trip to the Planetarium. I think it's time for another visit! more

It's better than Hansen's 10/14/2005

So if you're old like me, you'll remember how cool Hansen's plantetarium was. Well, Clark's is even cooler, mainly because the facility is newer and the exibits are more technologically advanced. This is a place you definitely need to take your kids if you want to know if they are a science nerd or not. more

Love the laser shows! 8/17/2005

Clark Planetarium is a great place to go if you're the science lover. They've got a few great exhibits of moon rocks and what it's like to be a weather forecaster. They also have a variety of laser shows including a rock hall of fame show and right now showing an into the deep 3D show. They also have some IMAX theaters for your viewing pleasure. This place of course wouldn't be complete without a gift shop to take home your favorite science based toys. more

Fun and Educational 8/10/2005

The Clark Planetarium is fun and Educational. Its located in the Heart of the Gateway shopping center. They have many exhibits like the moon and mars exhibits to name a few. They also have an imax theatre and the movies are outstanding. On weeend nights they do laser shows to popular music like Pink Floyd, and other classic rock. The prices for the shows are about $8.00. They also have a gift shop that has many science related gadgets and education tools. Its definitley worth dropping in just for that. IF you are ever in Gateway check it out. more

Clark Planetarium 8/10/2005

The clark planetarium is fun to check out. They have a wide number of displays that you can just look at, as well as displays that you can interact with. These displays change over a period of time so there is always something new there. They also have and Imax theater and they do lazer/light shows that are pretty cool. If you have not been I would suggest that you go and check it out!!! more
